Aether is one of the surviving Saints of House of Night, one of the six champions who Morgan had enlisted or coerced to face Mordret.^[2]

He used to be the ideal of composure and decorum in the past but seemed unnerved by the presence of Mordret.^[3]

He used to be one of the most promising young Saints of the House of Night when it still existed. He was strong, talented, valiant, and excellent in all regards.^[4]

Aspect, Abilities & Flaw

Aether did not possess an Aspect tied to the depths instead wielded a unique affinity for the night sky and starlight through his lineage. Despite this, he wasn't hindered by the lake; rather than diving in, he effortlessly walked across its surface, advancing with ease.^[5]

His ability involves weaving starlight into lethal weapons, such as a thin blade. While he lacks the physical strength of other Saints, he compensates with exceptional speed and skill. However, his Aspect is less effective in close combat.^[6]

When he activates his ability, his eyes glow with a cold silver light, and the silver radiant from the distance stars above him intensifies, growing brighter. He can solidify the rays of starlight, transforming them into a radiant net that cuts through his enemies with deadly precision. This attack is particularly effective against the depth dwellers.^[1]

His Aspect had always been powerful, particularly effective at night.^[7]

He was once a highly promising Saint of the House of Night and was considered as Morgan's potential fiancé during Clan Valor's alliance talks with his house.^[4]
He was the last person to directly benefit from Star Lantern and inherited the lineage of Storm God.^[8]
