Despite Helie's strong sense of duty, she is not blindly loyal—she values justice and fairness, as shown by her lingering resentment over Orum's execution. She is also adaptable, willing to change sides when she sees a better path, even if it means betraying old allegiances. Her humor and sarcasm show a level of confidence, and she maintains a sense of hope, choosing to follow Changing Star because she believes in her sanity amidst the world's chaos.
