Beastmaster is one of the Song's adopted daughters. She is one of the most feared Saints in the world.[2]

Appearance

Beastmaster had long hair that fell like a waterfall of black silk and wore a simple dress of carmine fabric, which nevertheless looked regal and mesmerizing on her slender figure. Her face was a little aloof, and a little humorous. It was the kind of face one never wanted to look away from.[5]

She seemed almost irresistibly alluring, breathtaking, and tantalizing. She was tall, with fair skin and red, sensual lips. Her cold beauty was only made more striking by her inviting dark eyes, which were full of strength and willpower.[5]

In Chapter 1203, her face was mangled. Her breathtaking face was covered in blood and there was an ugly torn wound stretching from her forehead to the tip of her chin.[6]

The thin scar that marred her demonically beautiful face is not only hypnotic but also makes her more alluring, almost hypnotic, and impossible to look away from. She earned it in Antarctica, which was unusual for Awakened due to their better recovery abilities and plenty of people with healing aspects around. The fact that a princess of Song couldn't erase such a long scar suggests the wound was not ordinary, but Beastmaster wore it as a badge of honor.[7]

During the Domain War, the mesmerizing enchantress had long hair that fell like an onyx waterfall, fair skin, and tantalizing red lips. She wore a dashing armor of black leather and scarlet silk, which seemed to accentuate her sensual figure and breathtaking beauty effortlessly. An ugly scar marred the perfection of her enchanting face, running from her forehead to the tip of her chin.[8]

Personality

Beastmaster was at least a decade younger than Saint Madoc, but she was no less of a seasoned tactician with a reputation for conquering dire regions. The tantalizing Saint is soft-spoken and cordial, quite easygoing with a pleasant husky voice and a bright smile that can beguile.[9]

Aspect, Abilities & Flaw

She is one of the most feared Saints in the world because she is an enchantress. Beastmaster can enthrall people, beasts, and even Nightmare Creatures.[2] She was frightening with her power lying in mesmerism and manipulation. She could make enemies defenseless by luring them into a deep trance or bedevil them with insidious illusions. She could also completely dominate someone's mind, making them an eternal thrall.[10]

She became more beautiful than she usually did as she used her power. If her beauty was mesmerizing before, after unleashing her power she was simply ruinous, so breathtaking that staring at her is painful.[11]

She is not very strong in a physical clash.[12]

Show/Hide Aspect Abilities

Received in Ability Chapter Mentioned Status Aspect Abilities
First Awakening
(After First Nightmare)
Dormant (Sleeper) 2013 Active Her first ability exerts a tantalizing and pervasive influence, burdening her victims with a powerful hex that weakens their resolve and slows their reactions, even if it fails to fully entrance them. This subtle, corrosive effect diminishes her opponents' effectiveness, forcing them to expend more effort just to maintain focus.[13]
Awakening
(After first escape from Dream Realm)
Awakened (Awakened) 2013 Active

Her Awakened Ability that allows her to mislead one's senses.[13]

These illusions are remarkably realistic, affecting sight, sound, touch, and even the mystical presence Saints emanate. Beastmaster's skill with these constructs allows her to manipulate her victim's perception by creating phantom versions of herself and her allies, making them appear in places they are not and attack from multiple directions simultaneously. The illusions are so vivid that they can even inflict phantom pain, further disorienting her opponents.[13]

However, her illusions are not without flaws. They are limited by her own knowledge and cannot replicate sensory phenomena she does not understand. For instance, Sunny, with his shadow sense, could identify subtle inconsistencies in the shadows of these false enemies, discerning real threats from fake ones. Even so, the persistent hallucinations and phantom pains significantly slow and weaken her adversaries, making her a terrifying and relentless opponent.[13]

Background

The Song sisters spent most of their childhood in the Jade Palace. Most of them had been anchored to the palace as Awakened after surviving the First Nightmare, and the rest would return each year for several months until the Spell called them.[16]

Trivia

  • In terms of personal power, Madoc is her equal but that depends on the battlefield. In Antarctica, she has a tremendous advantage.[2]
  • Madoc had called her a demoness due to the fact that the daughter of Ki Song resembled a beautiful demon. She was one of the most terrifying Saints in existence evident as one would immediately want to discard that knowledge and step closer to her.[5]
  • She asked Seishan if they should kill Changing Star.[17] It turned out that Song Clan also sent someone to kill her but their messenger did not even make it to the Dark City.[18]
  • In Chapter 1126, she seemed to think of Sunny as a brutal character in such a cute package.
  • She can transport two people at a time between worlds.[19]
  • Her wound had been delivered by Whispering Blade's sword was beyond Nephis' ability to mend flesh.[20]
  • Her ability to tame Nightmare Creatures was a significant factor in the Ravenheart's development and the Song Domain as a whole.[1]
  • Beastmaster is a breathtaking and tantalizing woman. There were countless songs written about her.[7]
  • She joined the battle against Lord of Shadows in Chapter 2006-2020.
  • Revel, Seishan, and Beastmaster once disappeared for a week after triggering the dollhouse's sorcery (inside the Toy Room of Jade Palace). They were pretty starved by the time their mother found them and reverse the sorcery.[21]
  • In Chapter 2781, it was mentioned that she spends most of her time in Ravenheart and is present in the parlor when the sisters gather. Beastmaster is lounging in a chair with a glass of red wine, wearing a flattering and perilous dress, with a languid, decadent smile; the scar meant to mar her deadly beauty instead makes her more alluring. Seishan perceives her as seeming the same but noticeably more relaxed, as the fall of the Song Domain has allowed Beastmaster to blossom as the logistical overlord of the Western Reach of the Human Domain rather than remaining a powerful, frightening witch who controlled an army of monsters. She speaks casually and scoffs at Lonesome Howl's complaints, teasing Silent Stalker, and reacts with a wince and dark humor to Death Singer's dramatic pronouncements.
  • In Chapter 2818, she appeared as one of Asterion's Thralls.
