Star Lantern[1] is a special Memory owned by Nightwalker, which he used to collect a bit of that starlight when he entered the lighthouse of Eternal City.[2]
This Memory allowed the founding members of the House of Night to also receive the Storm God's lineage, though some perished in the process.[2]
The starlight stolen by Nightwalker and contained within the Star Lantern was not infinite. It was described as merely a wisp and was eventually exhausted. Aether was the last person to directly benefit from it. Furthermore, not every child born in the House of Night inherited the lineage.[1]
Trivia
- In Chapter 2661, it was mentioned that the empty Star Lantern was full of starlight once again in the hands of Naeve when he, Sunny, Jet and Bloodwave visited the Lighthouse in Eternal City.
- Naeve returned from Eternal City with this Memory carrying a reservoir of starlight capable of granting people the Lineage of Storm God.[3][4]
