Roan · Shadow Slave · Wiki

“ He is rather beautiful, ain't he? Well, not that it matters. In theory, we can dive below the islands and escape through the Sky Below, but believe me, you wouldn't want to meet the things that dwell on the dark side of the Isles. Even I prefer to avoid those things. ”

― Roan to Sunny about his echo,
Chapter 381 Roan of White Feather

Roan of the White Feather Clan is one of the only three Masters on the Chained Isles and was married to the only Saint in the region.^[1]

Debut - Dream Realm

He was tall and had broad, powerful shoulders. He was wearing a light armor crafted from the adamantine scales of an unknown monster, with a blue scarf wrapped carelessly around his neck. His hair was the color of straw, as was his manly beard. His eyes were bright blue and dangerously attentive.^[1]

Antarctica Campaign

Master Roan has not changed much since the last time he and Sunny met, other than the length of his beard, everything else was the same. He is a tall man with broad, powerful shoulders. His light armor was crafted from the adamantine scales of an unknown monster, with a blue scarf wrapped carelessly around his neck. His hair was the color of straw, as was his thick beard. His eyes are bright blue and piercing.^[4]

Transcendent

He was tall and rugged, with broad shoulders and an easy bearing. His hair and beard were the color of straw, while his eyes were piercingly blue. There was a blue scarf wrapped carelessly around his neck… Roan of White Feather had grown even more handsome after becoming a Saint.

Personality

“ ...If you feel like passing out, turn your head to the side. Wouldn't want to suffocate on your own spit or vomit, right? Uh… sorry for being crass, kid. ”

― To Sunny during the "Crushing",

A rather friendly person as he warned Sunny about the dangers of ascending islands. He was envious of Sunny's slender physique due to the circumstances of being in the middle of the Crushing.^[1]

According to Sunny, Roan turned out to be a rather pleasant person, contrary to his expectations, probably because he was a legacy by marriage and not by birth.^[5]

Aspect, Abilities & Flaw

He can generate golden arcs of electricity around him.^[6] He can also summon a bolt of lightning.^[7]

In Chapter 980, Metal roads fell from the sky piercing the ground in a loose line. Suddenly, blinding arcs of electricity shot between the rods, creating a wall of lightning which was sustained by Roan's essence.

Transformation Ability

Saint Roan could transform into a mighty winged lion with gorgeous white fur and enormous amber eyes. The giant creature was just as handsome as his human form was. Sunny designed the Belated Apology to accommodate this transformation, with the lion's body typically encased in armor.^[8]^[9]
