Madoc was one of Anvil's siblings and the nominal leader of the great clan Valor. He was a legendary warrior and one of humanity's most formidable champions.[3]

Appearance

He was a tall, strong, and severe man, with a sharp face and even sharper, cold steely blue eyes. His black hair was touched by silver at the temples. He was wearing an elegant attire that somehow looked like a suit of impregnable armor despite being made of nothing but black fabric with a vermilion cloak.[3] His sharp facial features and eyes resembled Morgan's.[4]

Aspect, Abilities & Flaw

He has a unique ability to make weapons he wielded invisible and his Saint Transformation unseen. it was widely known that when he fought, it was as though the world itself was slicing enemies' bodies apart.[5]

Background

He was a veteran of many wars and led the Knights of Valor into plenty of untamed regions of the Dream Realm. He spent years of lengthy and harrowing campaigns of subjugation to expand the borders of human territory.[6]

Trivia

  • His beloved wife had written his speech during the Valor Clan ball and praised her for being far more eloquent and wise than him. She was the beautiful, mature woman with elegance and grace that accompanied him in the ball.[3]
  • He was sent to eliminate Mordret.[7]
  • Both Morgan and he knew of Mordret's Aspect Rank and Abilities except for his Ascended one.[8]
  • In Jest's early memories, he was around five years old and had a hesitant expression, unsure of why he was listening to the bossy little girl (Smile of Heaven).[9]
  • Anvil and his older brother Madoc lost their mother during the First Gate Crisis, a catastrophic event where Nightmare Gates began appearing on Earth.[10]
