Gemma was one of the inhabitants of the Dark City. He was the leader of the Hunters and Pathfinders. He arrived in the Dark City the same year as Gunlaug and had helped him take control of the castle.[1]
Appearance
Gemma was a tall young man with a laidback attitude and a friendly smile.[2]
Personality
He was a charismatic young man who defends his subordinates even when they are in the wrong.[1] He was a corrupted leader like all the other leaders of the factions in the Host.[3] He never wanted to be a Lord for that was Kido's wish. He didn't care about the throne after Kido died at the hands of Tessai.[2]
Aspect, Ability, & Flaw
Gemma's Aspect Ability made him nearly immortal because he had a self-regeneration ability, while his incredible skill, cunning, and might made him a herald of death.[4]
Trivia
- He was silently supporting the Artisans and their chief, Kido.[5]
- He led the second faction with Kido after Gunlaug was killed.[4]
- He promised, along with his hunters, to follow Nephis if she defeats Tessai.[2]
- After Tessai had fallen to Neph's blade, he seemed to have found some measure of peace. But somewhere deep in his eyes, there always was a hint of sorrow.[6]
- After returning from dead via Cassie's Aspect, Gemma and Kido settled in Ravenheart.[7]
