Dorn was a member of Sunny's cohort in Antarctica campaign. Together with Belle, they are the core of cohort battle formation.^[2] He is the striker of the melee vanguard.^[3]

Appearance

He was a giant of a man, noticeably taller than Effie, and had strong muscles on top of that. Most individuals would have felt weak and insignificant after just one glance at him.^[2]

Personality

He possessed a serious, sedate attitude and deeply intelligent eyes.^[2]

Aspect, Abilities & Flaw

His Aspect could be described in three words: push and pull. He was able to control at least something that approximated gravity, to empower his strikes with crushing weight and throw his enemies off-balance. He was able to significantly increase the strength of his assaults by carefully and methodically mixing these two effects.^[2]

Flaw

His body was slowly, but constantly growing and would most likely collapse under its own weight one day, sometime in the future.^[4]

Background

During his solstice, which was many years ago, the first Nightmare Creature he encountered completely crushed both of his legs. To get to the closest Citadel, he had to drag himself slowly and painfully through the mud for two weeks. Since then, no monster has been able to harm him in such a way.^[5]

Trivia

His weapon of choice was an enchanted version of a sledgehammer which is relatively light and elegant. It can crush flesh, bone, stone, and steel with ease.^[2]
Sunny managed to transfer the Mantle of the Underworld's [Feather of Truth] enchantment to Dorn's sledgehammer.^[6]
He had long reached full saturation of his soul core.^[7]
He had been wounded by the Scavenger.^[8] But he was yet to fully recover even though the deep cut on his chest had been dealt with by an Awakened healer.^[9]
