Appearance
An androgynous person of undetermined age in exquisite silk garments. This Transcendent had a hypnotically beautiful face, but for some reason, it was plastered with an unreasonable amount of makeup, and a genteel, almost effeminate bearing.[1] The saint was dressed in ridiculously colorful silken robes and looked like a parrot that had taken a bath in a tub of face powder.[2]

Trivia
- Sunny noted that the Saint has a pleasant voice.[1][3]
- Saint Thane is a government Transcendent.[7]
- In Chapter 2827, it was mentioned that Saint Thane had been developing a new version of Dreamspace to serve as a means for distant Citadels of humanity to communicate with each other. It was unclear when Asterion had enthralled Saint Thane, but his involvement caused grave unseen damage to the Human Domain through infected dreams, which accelerated the spread of the plague and made countless people across the Dream Realm far more susceptible to it, with Red Hill being targeted especially severely. Despite being enthralled, Saint Thane remained a subject of the Longing Domain until the very end, demonstrating that Asterion's control over his thralls extended beyond simply making them blindly loyal to his cause.
- It was mentioned in Chapter 2843 that when Nephis and the others investigated the fall of Red Hill it was revealed that Thane have committed treachery, and Nephis' wrath, she turned him into a screaming bonfire with her white flames. The flames quickly stole his voice, and she burned the enthralled Saint until nothing remained but a shriveled, blackened stick figure. However, she did not kill him; instead, she used the same flames to restore him to flawless health and then burned him again repeatedly, again and again, so that the name Asterion would become synonymous with harrowing pain in his mind. Eventually, the agony and horror overpowered Asterion's hex, erasing it, but by the time they left, the Dream Merchant had not regained his ability to form coherent sentences yet.
- In Chapter 2967, Effie initially had difficulty recognizing Thane, only identifying him after mentally imagining his usual extravagant clothes, excessive jewelry, and thick layer of makeup over his disheveled and unkempt appearance.
- He appeared in Chapter 2967, in the same situation and dungeon as Effie, due to being inoculated against Asterion's plague due to the horrible treatment Nephis had shown him. He confirmed that he had sent Effie the dreams about the war, though when asked who was winning, he admitted he did not know because he was awake. Despite his weak state, he refused Effie's suggestion of escaping to the waking world, insisting they could not abandon the dungeon full of others immune to the plague, who would otherwise suffer under the servants of that abominable Supreme until they submitted.
