Evacuation Army

The army consists of thousands upon thousands of government servants and soldiers, both mundane humans and Awakened. There are also all types of specialist units such as engineering corps, mechanized infantry that move around in exoskeleton armor suits, artillery vehicle operators, and many more.^[1]

If the mobilization goes well, the army will eventually have at least sixty thousand Awakened and between a hundred and three hundred Masters participating in the evacuation efforts.^[1]

Members of the army were issued with the basic set of gear that correspond to one's rank, a ubiquitous black bodysuit, and a high-grade communicator with an extensive software upgrade.^[2]

Army Command had no definite location. It was spread across many siege capitals, strongholds, and continents, all connected into a seamless network both by technology and the Aspect Abilities of the Awakened officers. Most of the staff was in Antarctica.^[3]

The underground fortress below the reception hall was the closest to the heart of Army Command, a hub of activity with countless people working tirelessly to complete tasks. Their work was vital for the evacuation campaign, as it ensured efficient support and management. Army Command was the brain of the army, updating the status of areas, compiling data about Nightmare Creatures, and guiding troop movements.^[3]

The First Evacuation Army (First Army) already included the best and the brightest that the government has to offer.^[4]

There are initial four convoys that will transfer the army to Antarctica. Two of which will sail from Northern Quadrant and the rest from Eastern and Western. Each convoy will transport around a hundred thousand soldiers to Antarctica. The number includes around twenty thousand Awakened and fifty or so Masters.^[1]

The field army Sunny belonged to numbered around 100,000 soldiers and around 5,000 Awakened. However, half of them were left. Sky Tide was responsible for the entire Antarctic Center alone.^[5]

The First Evacuation Army currently has three field armies in East Antarctica, which was exactly three times more than the one sent to the Antarctic Center. There are two Saints, one of the government's own and the emissary of the Song clan.^[6]

The Second Evacuation Army (Second Army) is the voluntary mobilization announced by the government.^[4] The Second Army is to bolster the human forces in Antarctica. It is expected to be composed of twice as many mundane soldiers, Awakened, and Masters as the First Army.^[6] The Second Army was twice the size of the First Army.^[7]

Wolves and Nightsingers were not classified as special forces but had established a reputation as elite troops among the ranks of the Evacuation Army. They were commanded by two of the world's most fearsome Masters: Effie and Kai.^[8]

The soldiers were mingled, yet it was simple to tell which ones belonged to which unit. Wolves were more boisterous, lively, and rough around the edges. The Nightsingers were more calm, reserved, and good-natured. They appeared to have taken on the personality of their leaders.^[8]

The SRU was tasked with hunting and tracking dangerous targets in the wilderness, including powerful Tyrants, Terrors, and Titans. They were tasked with keeping track of their movements and even attempting to lure them away from the cities. The task was extremely dangerous and often lethal. The SRU consisted exclusively of powerful Masters with unique abilities or absolute elite status.^[11]

It is one of the First Army contingencies and the most drastic of them all.^[12]
