Shadow Avatar is the term used by Sunny to name his incarnated shadow helpers.[1]
Shadow Incarnation - official term for Sunny's Transformation Ability according to his summoned runes.[2]
Note: Sunny called his transformation ability, Shadow Incarnation. His transformation ability as Transcendent involves his shadows to manifest as Shadow Avatars, and he named this ability as Shadow Incarnation, same as his earlier application of his Aspect Ability to make himself in Tangible Shadow Form. However, as a Transcendent, he can make his shadow helpers have a human body.
Forms
Incarnated Shadows (Human Form)
The shadow avatars were also clad in fearsome armor, granting them the same Attribute. They possessed the rest of his Attributes, making them just as strong and durable as his own body, including the Master of Shadows, Flame of Divinity, Onyx Shell, and the three Weaves (Blood Weave, Bone Weave, Soul Weave).[1]
The Weaves granted them strength and made their bodies exceedingly tenacious, while the Onyx Shell granted them protection against all kinds of attacks, as well as a handful of extremely useful traits.[1]
The most important thing about this Transformation Ability was the manifested shadows were identical to Sunny, possessing the same body, attributes, and power. Each of the avatars was fast, strong, and resilient as his class and rank and could use the same abilities as Sunny, including Shadow Control, Shadow Step, and Shadow Manifestation. They could summon Sunny's Shadows, wield his Memories, weave strings of shadow essence, and form their own Shadow Shells. Theoretically, he could turn each of his avatars into a different kind of terrifying creature.[3]
Shadow Form
As the natural form of the manifested avatar was that of a shadow, Sunny could abandon his physical form without losing control of the incarnation, becoming a shadow.[4] In Chapter 1889, Sunny was able to fuse with his Shadow akin to his shadows in the past. It felt natural and euphoric as if he was doing something he had always meant to do.

During the encounter with the imprisoned Unholy Nightmare Creature beneath the Abyss, one of Sunny's incarnations became the target of its gaze, causing the seeds of Corruption to take root in the Shadow Core linked to that avatar. Realizing the incarnation was beyond saving, Sunny dismissed Saint and pushed Nephis out of harm's way before the avatar was impaled by a spike of writhing darkness. Moments later, the corrupted Shadow Core exploded, completely destroying and dispelling the incarnation. The loss sent a devastating backlash through Sunny's consciousness, causing his six remaining incarnations to collapse.[11] |
