As a world wonder, Nevermore contains Challenge Dungeons. The most famous are the C-grade Challenge Dungeons which are an essential part of the Nevermore Leaderboard evaluations.

Challenge Dungeons can sometimes be found in later grades of Nevermore, but they exist simply to allow people to challenge and improve themselves. Additionally, some grades may include Legacy Challenge Dungeons which allow the participants to compete for professions. These dungeons also serve as a recruitment tool allowing gods to find potential followers who may be worth blessing.[1]

C-Grade Challenge Dungeons of Nevermore

Challenge Dungeons are considered the solo portion of Nevermore, as each participant must attempt them alone. The dungeons are also important for ranking as the top positions on the Leaderboards usually go to those who did best in the Challenge Dungeons.

In addition to points and rankings, the Challenge Dungeons present an opportunity for self-improvement in a relatively safe environment as True Death is temporarily suspended. Each participant is granted a set number of "lives" in each challenge. If a participant dies in the Challenge Dungeon, they are reset to the most recent "checkpoint" with one less life. Once the participant runs out of lives, they are ejected from the Challenge Dungeon.[1]

The Challenge Dungeons available at C-Grade during the 93rd Universe include:

  • Colosseum of Mortals: A battle-based challenge where participants battle images of gods nerfed to base level stats and C-grade knowledge.
  • Neverending Journey: An intrigue-based challenge where the participant attempts to maneuver complex political webs while not getting pulled into the conflict or running afoul of any of the feuding parties.
  • Test of Character (Limited): A challenge where the participant inhabits a character and influences their path in an attempt to create the participant's ideal outcome.
  • Minaga's Endless Labyrinth: An endless maze that extends until the participant can no longer complete the challenge within the allotted time.
  • House of the Architect: A challenge focused on path progression. The participant is challenged to create 10 creations of their choice to impress the Architect. The creations can be anything the participant desires: products, skills, compositions, etc.

Titles

Titles are available for those who perform well in the Challenge Dungeons. See each Challenge Dungeon's page for titles that can only be earned in that particular challenge. For anyone who does exceedingly well in all dungeons they may qualify for a special title:
