Oras the All-Seeing

Jake first encounters Oras as he is traveling through the void from the Order of the Malefic Viper to Earth. His trip is halted by Oras who asks Jake to "Deliver. Gift." ^[2] Overwhelmed by the void god's presence, Jake passes out. Later, the Malefic Viper approaches Oras, asking why the Void God stopped Jake. Oras explains that travel to the 93rd Universe is restricted and he wanted a gift delivered to "he Who Commands The Many Eyes That Dwell Within the Soulless Vessels of Metal and Lightning. Seeker of knowledge like I.”^[3] After a brieft search for a Void blessed human, the Viper identifies the intended recipient as Arnold.

Oras promises to compensate Jake for the trouble.

During the journey from Earth to the Order of the Malefic Viper for Jake's Chosen ceremony, Jake and his companions are once more briefly interrupted by Oras and another Void God. Oras gifts Jake as previously promised with the [Vision of Oras], a small marble that increases Perception. The group then continues their journey through the void to the Order almost completely unharmed.^[4]
