C-grade marks a critical milestone on the path of evolution within the System, one that few beings across the multiverse ever reach. Representing levels 200 to 349, this grade signifies the moment an individual begins to solidify their identity and power, forging the foundation of their Path, the metaphysical construct that will eventually lead them toward godhood.
For many, reaching C-grade is both a source of pride and a clear division between the exceptional and the ordinary. It is a stage where true power begins to manifest, and the first where one's actions can affect worlds on a large scale. Most planetary leaders and high-ranking faction members are C-grade entities, and a powerful C-grade individual is capable of conquering or defending entire planets.
Many beasts gain full sapience upon reaching this stage, though rudimentary intelligence often emerges earlier. Particularly gifted or unique beasts may even achieve full sentience before C-grade. Upon evolution, all beasts also gain access to the [Polymorph] skill, allowing them to alter their form, typically to enhance themselves. Beasts that often interact with environments and societies built around Enlightened norms generally use the skill to create a humanoid form.
Stages
C-grade is divided into four sub-stages based on level progression:
- Early C-grade: Levels 200–249
- Mid C-grade: Levels 250–299
- Late C-grade: Levels 300–339
- Peak C-grade: Levels 340–349
Lifespan
Lifespan increases significantly at this grade. A C-grade Human has a natural lifespan of approximately 10,000 years[1] however other races such as Elves or other long-lived species, may naturally surpass these figures. Though the soul’s structural limit at this grade can extend to a maximum of 100,000 years.[1]

- In the immediate aftermath of the tutorials, most beast on Earth are geo-restricted to specific regions of the planet to keep the C-grade beasts from wholesale slaughtering the human population which was primarily E-grade with a small percentage of D-grade individuals.

- High Elves are capable of being born at C-grade, a point of pride for the elven race as it is the highest possible natural grade of all the enlightened races.[2]
- All C-grade beasts can learn to talk but most never do, not overly interested in investing the large amount of time required for learning to communicate in a way that the enlightened races can understand. Sylphie is an example of a beast who can speak but choses not to.[3]
