Prima Guardian Event

From the vastness of space, a Prima Vessel is bound for Earth, carrying with it Primas who have been empowered within the Seal of the Exalted Prima and the Prima Guardian itself. Seek out where it lands and prepare to fight, flee, and defend what is worth protecting, or find any other strategy to face the Guardian. Do this with the knowledge that you have time.

The Prima Guardian will be sealed within the Prima Vessel for the first 1,000 days after arrival. Each day that passes, the Prima Guardian shall break one of the chains sealing it, expending some of its power to regain its freedom. While sealed, the Prima Guardian cannot leave the Prima Vessel, and none can enter the Vessel except the Key Holder carrying the First Key (current World Leader, Jake Thayne)

Even as the Prima Guardian remains sealed, the Primas that have arrived alongside it shall roam free, bringing with them their armies. Defend, attack, and hunt down every Prima, knowing that every slain Prima empowers the remaining seals on the Prima Guardian, forcing it to expend even more energy to regain its freedom, thus making it weaker once fully unsealed.

Once the Prima Guardian is free, it shall seek to hunt down the other Key Holder and claim the Planetary Pylon. 5 years after the Prima Guardian's release, the barrier protecting Earth's Planetary Core will naturally disperse, allowing any with a key to claim it. Current Key Holders on Earth: Jake Thayne. Prima Guardian of Earth (upon arrival)

Due to the exceptional performance on Earth in prior system events and the number of Primas slain during the first period of this event is significantly more powerful than usual. The hundreds of chains broken through previously slain Primas allow the Prima Guardian to absorb Records and energies while expending less energy overall to break free. The faster the Prima Guardian is slain, the greater the reward. Once the Prima Guardian has been slain, Earth will naturally be enrolled in the Prima Guardian Alliance. Participating in the alliance is voluntary but may result in improved event rewards.

Let the true battle for who shall ultimately claim dominion over the Planetary Pylon begin.^[3]

• To participate in the event, participants must be within the territory of a Pylon of Civilization and have permission to enter from the City Lord or ruler of the Pylon.^[4]
• The initial power of the Prima Guardian upon arrival was scaled based on how many Primas had been killed and the overall performance of the people on the planet during the initiation. The more Primas killed before the Prima Guardian arrived on the planet, the stronger the Prima Guardian. The fewer Primas killed, the weaker the Prima Guardian, but it's also likely the planetary defenders are equally weak.^[1]
• Once the event begins, the Prima Guardian is weakened by every Prima killed by the defenders. The fewer Primas that have been killed during the event, the stronger the Prima Guardian.
• If the Key Holder chooses to enter the Prima Vessel before the 1,000 days are over, all seals limiting the Prima Guardian are instantaneously broken and the Prima Guardian is set free. If the Prima Guardian is freed before all the other Primas are slain, it will be more powerful as it did not expend its saved up power freeing itself.
• Beast or beastkin that developed primarily by consuming energy from system-provided unique items cannot aid the population defending against the Prima Guardian. They would be required to either abstain from participation or ally with the Prima Guardian.^[5]
• Rewards from the event shall be given once all the Prima Guardians in the entirety of the universe have been slain or the event expires at the 5 year point. Rewards are based on both the performance of the individual and the planet's performance as a whole.

Planets had the option to join an alliance through which they could request help to fight their Prima Guardian. If a planet voted to join, they would have access to an interplanetary teleportation system during the event. If the planet did not join, they would not have access to the teleportation system until they had successfully defeated their Prima Guardian and claimed the Planetary Pylon.

Ell'Hakan, with the backing of the Holy Church, was the de facto leader of the Prima Guardian Alliance. Earth voted not to participate in the alliance, electing to fight their guardian on their own in order to reap the greatest rewards.

William theorized that Ell'Hakan was using his bloodline to persuade world leaders to join the Alliance. He would then use it further to convince them to allow him to claim the Planetary Pylon. The Planetary Pylon passively projects the Records of the owner, influencing anyone in its sphere. With Ell'Hakan's path dependent on followers, the Pylons would give him access to potentially trillions more believers who then make him stronger and more powerful by their belief.^[6]

The Prima Watcher is an entity that appeared inside of the chamber housing the Prima Guardian. It has the appearance of a floating metal ball with a single, eye-like appendage. It speaks with a mechanical voice and appears to have the ability to control time. Jake is unable to identify it's power level, suggesting it is well above C-grade.^[7]

Jake and the planet Earth are deemed to be qualified to experience the Accelerated Difficulty Prima Guardian Protocol. This protocol increases Jake's potential to be an Administrator and increases the quality of all rewards gained if successful.

Message to all residents of Earth: The Prima Guardian has been freed from its seals and can now roam the planet freely. Defeating Primas will no longer serve to weaken the Prima Guardian.

WARNING: Through the decision of the World Leader, the Accelerated Difficulty Prima Guardian Protocol has been engaged. Revered Prima Guardian evolved to Exalted Prima Guardian. The Prima Guardian has grown substantially in power, but so have the rewards for defeating it. The Exalted Prima wishes the denizens of Earth luck.^[7]

The level of the Guardian varies by planet. Guardian Primas appeared at the following ranking and levels during the event:

• Exalted Prima Guardian- Lvl 349 (Accelerated Difficulty)
• Revered Prima Guardian- Lvl 349
• Honored Prima Guardian- Lvl 301, Lvl 315, Lvl 317, Lvl 319, Lvl 323
• Distinguished Prima Guardian- Lvl 294

The Prima Guardian of Earth initially appears like a massive blob of flesh with 999 black chains hooked through its skin. Jake’s first attempt to Identify it displays “Revered Prima-Lvl 320”. However, the display quickly updates to 328, 336,343, 346, and 348 before finally settling on 349. The Prima Watcher then intervenes to offer the Accelerated Difficulty.

The World Congress agrees on an elite team to deal with the Prima Guardian. The team includes Jake, Carmen, Eron, Caleb, the Sword Saint, the Fallen King, Sylphie, Casper, Maria, Vesperia, and Arnold.

The Earth Strike Team faced an Exalted Prima Guardian which was capable of observing, adapting, and mimicking their skills. The fight contained three phases, culminating in the Guardian dying after it attempted to imitate Moment of the Primal Hunter without having the necessary bloodline to protect its body and soul from that level of power.^[8]

After defeating their own Prima Guardian and claiming the planetary pylon, the World Leader gets access to a galactic map. All planets in the galaxy are displayed and marked with a colored flag.

• Red- Fighting the Primas without alliance assistance
• Blue- Fighting the Primas with alliance assistance
• Green- Successfully deafeated the Prima Guardian
• Grey- Planetary Pylon claimed by the Prima Guardian
• Black- Planetary Core has been destroyed

Rankings at the conclusion of the Prima Guardian Event:

1. Ell'Hakan
2. Jake Thayne
3. Servant of the Holy Church
4. King Iludar
5. Voice of the One

Due to the performance of the Milky Way Galaxy during the event, the top five Administrator Candidates were promoted to Seat of the Exalted Prima Administrators and granted yet-to-be-defined privileges upon visiting the Seat of the Exalted Prima. Administrator authority is based on their respective ranking.^[9]

Earth was the first planet to kill its Prima Guardian. This greatly increased their event awards. However, most would not be received until the conclusion of the event. Later, the Milky Way was the first galaxy to complete the Prima Guardian event with every planet either claiming their pylon, falling to its native beasts, or having its core destroyed. As a reward, the Seat of the Exalted Prima in the Milky Way Galaxy was named the top-ranked seat in the 93rd Universe. ^[9] Additionally, the Milky Way received a galaxy-wide buff to Records.

• The Milky Way was the first galaxy to complete the Prima Guardian Event. The second was a universe that was hosting the Eastbound Monk. The third was a universe controlled by the Risen.^[10]
• Roughly 500 planets in the Milky Way joined the Prima Guardian Alliance.^[1]
• This event marks the first appearance of the Desolate Child of Loss^[11]
• When the Prima Guardian of Earth uses Primal Gaze, Jake can sense the creature's soul and realizes that it was an unnatural construct held together only by the System. Its True Soul would fall apart within a decade, meaning that it wasn't built to last and couldn't truly rule a planet long term.^[12]
• Planets that were not controlled by enlightened races had a separate event. For planets dominated by monster races, the natives were challenged to be the first to claim the world core.^[10]
