Her Aspect Ability allows her to see people's Attributes. She had to be close in order to learn about Attributes of Awakened and the Attributes and unholy powers of Nightmare Creatures.[9] Sometimes, she also receives "visions". They can be about the past or the future.[10] Cassie's Dormant Ability allowed her to read the runes of a living being, granting her deep insight into their identity, Memories, and powers—essentially everything except their Flaw. Her true power was to gain insight, not to read runes. The runes seen by Awakened (Nightmare Spell Carriers) were a construct of the Spell, translating the knowledge Cassie gained into a familiar language. This was a convenient adaptation of her power, much like how Sunny's ability to create Shadows with fragments and nurture them by sacrificing Memories was shaped by the Spell.[11] Her powers improved after Transcendence, her Dormant Ability allowed her to learn more about people and creatures she perceived.[12] It allows her a measure of insight into all living things. It was speculated that her powers are based on a subconscious ability to perceive the strings of fate and sense when they are trembling.[13] Cassie's abilities had changed subtly after the Third Nightmare. According to her, her visions of the future became strange and chaotic, indicating that her ability to receive clear foresight was compromised. This alteration in her powers also coincided with strange changes in her behavior, which caused concern for Nephis.[12] |

Her Second Aspect Ability allows her to sense what will happen in the next few seconds.[14] It enabled her to navigate the world but did not grant her sight.[15] When using her Awakened Ability past its limit, Cassie is capable of sensing a multitude of futures.[16] It was the reason she was able to see that Sunny was in a room with her despite him not having revealed his presence.[17] It also let her walk around without a cane and knew what Sunny was going to say.[14] With her Awakened Ability, it was almost impossible to surprise her.[18]
Since Awakening, Cassie can read the name and rank of Aspects.[19][9] |

She can see the perspectives of various people marked by her Ability.[20] She was able to perceive the world from a different perspective. She could use someone or something else to substitute her senses. She could smell someone else's nose, feel someone else's touch, and see someone else's eyes.[21] While Cassie was still blind, she was able to look around and see what the recipient of the connection saw. As long as she had the mental capacity to withstand the flood of input, the connection could be established with multiple mediums at the same time. The medium did not have to agree to the connection, or even be aware of it. Although maintaining a connection with a willing recipient required far less essence.[21] Cassie's first Ability was also enhanced, allowing her to perceive Attributes and Aspect names and the Aspect Abilities of other Awakened.[21] Her powers improved after Transcendence, her Ascended Ability enabled her to perceive the world through others' senses and communicate with those she had marked.[12][18] None was aware how many individuals in both the waking world and the Dream Realm served as her eyes and ears, with some being willing agents and others not even aware of their marking. The latter consumed more soul essence.[12] |
| Transcendance (After Third Nightmare) |
Transcendent (Saint) |
1373 | Active | Her transformation ability is primarily attributed to her eyes. She can read their memories if one looks into them. Only a few people know of it.[24] She always erase the memory of what her eyes looked like when she uses her Transformation Ability.[25]
Cassie's beautiful blue eyes glistened, pulling the target into their depths, allowing her to see their memories.[26] (Refer to Cassie's Transformation Ability)
Other Details Cassie's Aspect is uniquely suited to remembering. Her powers have to do with memories. She has a great level of control over her memory, which has become much greater than before. She can also collect the memories of other people or even replace and manipulate them. It was a facet of her Transformation Ability.[27] However, reading someone's deep memories against their will can be an intense process, especially if their mental resilience is high.[28] |

Supreme Ability Cassie's Supreme Ability is granted after the fifth seal of her Aspect had already been broken, allowing her to already wield her Supreme Ability. While her Domain had not fully formed yet, her spirit had already reached Supremacy, enabling her to access this power even before her transformation into a full Supreme was complete. The ability emerged while she assimilated the vast inheritance of memories granted by the Nightmare Spell and rebuilt her shattered mind.[30] The Supreme Ability grants Cassie the power to manifest anything she remembered into reality, including both objects and living beings. The manifestation is directly tied to her memories, allowing remembered states or existences to be recreated through her Aspect.[30] Cassie demonstrated the ability immediately after becoming corrupted by the forbidden knowledge of the Defilement. Upon remembering her existence as Torment, a seed of darkness took root in her mind, causing Corruption that threatened to transform her into a vile, abominable Great Beast. Using her Supreme Ability, Cassie first destroyed herself, then manifested herself back into existence — a version of herself that did not remember the vile secrets of the Defilement yet, and was therefore untainted by the Corruption.[30] Limitation Her Supreme Ability allows her to manifest beings she remembers into existence and borrow their strength. However, this manifestation ability is restricted by Rank. She can only summon beings of the same Rank as herself or lower, and her capacity at the Supreme level allows only one Supreme or Great being to exist at a time. Because Cassie herself occupied that slot by manifesting her own existence, she could not summon another Supreme-level entity. Instead, she was limited to manifesting lower-ranked beings, such as Corrupted Titans or Transcendent Saints.[31] Other Information Cassie's Supreme Ability allowed her to manifest prominent figures from the ancient past into reality using memories preserved through her Aspect Legacy. Rather than directly increasing military strength, the ability enabled her to acquire and disseminate knowledge, reflecting the principle that knowledge was the origin of power.[32] Domain in connection to her Aspect Legacy Cassie's Domain is connected to her Aspect Legacy, a boundless chronicle of memories of the world as witnessed by countless beings across vast and terrifying eons, spanning from the dawn of time in the Age of Gods to the present day.[7] Her Domain derives its power from every being she remembers. Upon becoming a Supreme, Cassie described her Domain as deep and vast, stating that everything she remembers becomes the source of her power, and she remembers everything. Unlike Nephis, who rules those inspired by her, or Sunny, who rules those killed by him, Cassie's Domain consisted of memories — every being she remembered made it stronger. The Aspect Legacy bestowed upon her by the Spell greatly expanded this capability, allowing her to accumulate an immense number of memories. Although memories of beings far more powerful than herself were exceptions, the countless memories of weaker beings formed a legion, making her Domain exceptionally powerful despite having existed for only a short time.[31] The Domain grants Cassie the ability to project her Will and mark individuals, enabling her to perceive the world through their senses. By marking Asterion, she became capable of seeing the world through his eyes. Prior to becoming Supreme, using this ability on Asterion would have exposed her mind to severe manipulation, but her ascension significantly strengthened her mental defenses. Cassie could also extend her Will over large distances, marking multiple targets simultaneously, including the soldiers of the Hunger Domain.[31] Cassie's Domain is closely tied to her Supreme Ability, which allows her to manifest beings she remembers into existence and borrow their strength.[31] |

Aspect Legacy
Cassie's Aspect Legacy is memories, granted after the Nightmare Spell acknowledged her act of defiance against fate, declaring the fifth seal has been broken. The Spell presented her with a bequeathment described as one worthy of her Aspect.[7]
Her Aspect Legacy is revealed to be memories—a boundless chronicle of memories that belonged to different people, different beings, both great and small. It is a chronicle of the world as it had been witnessed by those who populated its vast and terrifying expanse across countless eons, stretching from the dawns of time in the Age of Gods to today. To what was happening right now, somewhere else.[7]
This inheritance manifested as an obliterating torrent of memories, devastating beyond even the return of Cassie's own memories. It was described as a burden that no human mind, not even a Transcendent mind, could endure. Only the mind of a Supreme demigod could. Unable to close her mind to it, Cassie was overwhelmed until her mind shattered. She found herself in the ocean of broken memories, where she drifted while attempting to assemble herself back together from the countless shards. Within this state, she recovered the knowledge of who she was, how she had ended up in this state and what she had to do. By plunging the tendrils of her Will into the vast maelstrom of memory shards, she drank them in, assembling her into a creature that could endure the burden of her Aspect, of her Domain, ultimately making her Supreme.[7]
Domain
- Main article: The Returned
Cassie's Domain was the foundation that supported and expanded the capabilities of her Supreme Ability. Its strength directly influenced how many beings and objects she could manifest and sustain in reality. According to Cassie, as her Domain grew stronger, it would provide her with more spirit essence, increasing her capacity to maintain manifested living beings of all Ranks.[33]
In Chapter 3003, Cassie had already pushed her Domain close to its limits by restoring more than a thousand Dreamers of the Dark City. The Returned continuously consumed spirit essence, drawing on it at roughly the same rate that it was replenished. Because of this, the Dreamers accounted for essentially all of the Dormant and Awakened memories she could keep manifested. Her Domain could still support a limited number of higher-ranked manifestations, including some Transcendent beings and items, while she estimated that she could indefinitely sustain the manifestation of forty-nine Ascended (Masters). Furthermore, seven manifested individuals could eventually become Saints without exceeding the capacity of her Aspect and Domain.[33]
The long-term plan depended on the growth of Cassie's Domain. As it expanded and generated greater reserves of spirit essence, more of the Returned would be able to advance through the Ranks while remaining manifested. This would allow Cassie to sustain stronger beings and increase the number of living manifestations she could support, making her Domain an essential part of preserving and developing the Returned.[33]
The Domain also demonstrated its immense scope when Cassie undertook the seemingly impossible task of encompassing all of humanity within the invisible web of her Aspect during the crisis caused by the Dreamspawn. The effort drained her so completely that she fell into a deep, restorative sleep afterward.[33]
