The Void (eternal abyss or eternal void or primordial void) is the place where the unknown (primordial beings) was sealed by the gods. It is also the place where they were born.[1]
Nature
The Void is described not as a malevolent force, but as a transformative one. According to the Puppeteer, the Void doesn't "corrupt" in the moral or destructive sense—it changes. These changes are not inherently evil or vile; they are simply different. The Void creates a fundamental contradiction between those it has touched and those it has not, and this contradiction is what breeds conflict. Beings that belong to both Void and the Flame exist in a state of dissonance, caught between two realities—the Void and the Flame—yet accepted by neither. This internal war often leads them to madness, making them desperate for resolution, salvation, or even annihilation.[2]
Lore
[Before, there was only boundless, eternal void. From that dark abyss, the -unknown- were born. Just like chaos itself, they were endless and everlasting, vast and forever changing. But then came desire, and with it came direction. From it, the gods were born.
When gods appeared, the void was not eternal anymore. When gods appeared, the darkness was not endless anymore. When gods appeared, the chaos was not orderless anymore. The gods appeared, and brought with them war. This drop of divine blood was spilled by Shadow on one of the battlefields of that war, before the void was bound.]— Memory description of Shadow God's drop of Ichor, Chapter 551 Slave's Inheritance |
According to the legends, after the gods sealed the primordial void, Weaver was the only one of those who had entered the eternal abyss and managed to return alive.[1]
The gods had sealed the eternal void, from which they were born. The unknown were creatures of that void, while the Unknown was a specific being that had somehow given life to the seven daemons. The reflection of either was forever frozen in the depths of Weaver's eyes.[1]

Trivia
- It was a place that existed before time and before the gods had been born.[4]
- The gods have used nothing to contain the Void, enveloping it in a layer of nothingness that the Void Beings could not cross, like mist.[5]
- At the dawn of the Age of Gods, the gods battled remnant Creatures of the Void with the aid of daemons, leaving scars across the Dream Realm. Although most Chaos Creatures were sealed with the Void, not all of them were contained.[6]
- Three eyes was associated with the Nephilim, it is the sign of the Void, the sign of the angels and of what angels touch, which the Nephilim also bore, though they often choose to hide their third eye.[7]
- The colossal skeleton, once belonging to a creature of immense size — at least ten thousand kilometers tall, later known as Godgrave. Sunny noted that someone managed to kill this creature, although its origins are mysterious. Azarax expressed disbelief that such a giant could exist, stating that only the World Tree could compare in scale and asserting that it could not have been a Nephilim. Despite this, the skeleton that became Godgrave is associated with the Void. Sunny also observed that Azarax appeared unaware of the being whose remains became Godgrave.[7]
