Joanna Elkmann

Joanna was a middle-aged woman who always wore large earrings and heavy makeup.^[1]

Joanna was described by Jake as "a soccer-mom stuck in a perpetual mid-life crisis".^[1]

Joanna worked as a receptionist in the same company as Jake and her husband, Mike, and would usually greet the workers energetically in the mornings. She was in the same elevator as Mike, Jake, Jacob, and others when the Tutorial started.^[1]

Joanna along with her colleagues Jake, Jacob, Bertram, Caroline, Dennis, Lina, Ahmed, Casper and Theodore spawned in the Tutorial.

During Introduction, she chose the class Caster. She reasoned her choice for Caster being physically less straining and also interested in certain fiction^[2].

On the first Day her legs was stomped by a high level Boar which was enraged due to Jake's mistake and remained mostly immobile. After they joined Richard's group, she made herself useful by stitching cloaks and gained a profession Novice Tailor, which made everyone interested in Professions in general. She became official crafters Leader. Her legs had completely regrew at this point. While the conflict between groups escalated, she evolved her profession into Experienced Seamstress.

She was against the decision to ambush Jake and also took the opposite stance when Richard prepared to wipe out Hayden's Camp after his death,

Later when William killed everyone in the battlefield, the rest of the crafters along with Joanna accepted their fate and joined the Holyland of The Holy Mother.
