Legacy Relics

Legacy Relics are powerful artifacts that were assumed to be created by the Spell. Their origins can be uncertain, such as the Shadow Lantern, which might be a true relic of Shadow God or a replica. The Spell appears to create or provide these relics as Aspect Legacies, but some, like the Fragment of Shadow Realm, are so enigmatic that even the Spell cannot fully understand or categorize them.^[1]

After they mastered their Aspect Legacy, they were rewarded with a powerful relic known as a Legacy Relic. Usually, it was a Memory that synergized perfectly with their Aspect Abilities, or sometimes even an Echo.^[2] In Jet's and Nephis's case, the former is an innate ability^[3] and the latter is knowledge^[4]. The griffin Echo Tyris gifted her husband was part of her Aspect Legacy. The noble beast had reached Transcendence and served as a protector of their daughter, Telle.^[5]

The whole Legacy Clans can be created around a single Legacy Relic. Legacy Relics are associated with the Aspect Legacy.^[6]

Legacy Relics do not need to be powerful; they just need to complement one's Aspect greatly.^[7]
