Show/Hide Aspect Abilities

Received in Ability Chapter Mentioned Status Aspect Abilities
First Awakening
(After First Nightmare) Dormant (Sleeper) 130 Active

A strong all-around physical enhancement. It was practically the ultimate warrior ability that boosted her strength, speed, agility, endurance, and resilience.[9]

Effie's Dormant Ability granted her significant physical augmentation, making her strong, fast, and resilient. Even though the gap between Sunny and her was not vast, she was still superior to Sunny as a Tyrant.[7]

Awakening
(After first escape from Dream Realm) Awakened (Awakened) 375 Active

Skin of Steel makes her whole body invulnerable. A comprehensive defense boost.[10]

Effie's Awakened Ability made her skin as tough as steel, while Sunny's Marble Shell was more versatile but not as stalwart in defense.[7]

Ascension
(After Second Nightmare) Ascended (Master) 748 Active

As long as her allies could see her, her new power seemed to strengthen them. It was as if they were receiving a portion of her phenomenal, all-encompassing physical enhancement. It could be easily shared with any number of people as long as they kept their line of sight with the huntress, essentially without an additional cost in essence.[11]

Once she activated her Ascended Ability, the fire burning in the hearts of the soldiers who saw her would become quite real, coursing through their veins and granting them actual power. It was as though Raised by Wolves was sharing some of her astonishing physical might with her followers.[12]

Effie's Ability has no limit to the number of people it could empower. Anyone who saw her and was considered an ally by her would reap the benefits. Their number had no effect on how quickly she absorbed essence. The only detrimental thing is her followers had to maintain a line of sight with her to enjoy the boon of her power.[13]
Transcendance
(After Third Nightmare) Transcendent
(Saint) 1417 Active

When transformed Effie was like a colossal steel statue towering a hundred meters. The gorgeous lines of her athletic body shining under the blinding sun were akin to a war deity battling monstrous abominations. Expanding her Memories to fit her giant size cost a significant amount of essence.[14]

Her voice was like a divine war horn when assuming the godlike form of a militant giantess, so she developed a habit of staying silent or speaking softly. She kept it down to avoid crippling others or outright dying especially mundane humans under its pressure.[14] (Refer to Effie's Transformation Ability)

Battle Style

Effie did not only have size on her side. She also had her skill, intellect, and battle experience. If she had a proper spear and shield to wield the combination of her skills would be even more devastating. So, she fought with her bare hands or rather her entire body following the ancient hand-to-hand combat techniques hammered into her bones by the War Maidens of the Chalice Temple.[14]

Source Element

The soldiers' impassionate voices filled with determination and grim determination slowly replenished her essence as they looked at her.[14]

Other Details

Effie's Ascended and Transcendent Abilities synergized beautifully. Activating her Ascended Ability, every soldier's spirit and body were reinvigorated while their strength, speed, agility, endurance, and resilience were greatly enhanced. Her Transformation Ability allowed her to be seen on the battlefield at any moment, as long as she was on the front line.[14]

As a Supreme, Effie's Transcendent form would probably be taller than a hundred meters.[15]

Supremacy
(After Fourth Nightmare) Supreme
(Sovereign) 3143 Active

Her Supreme Ability allowed her to share the augmentation of her Dormant and Awakened Abilities with all her subjects, although in a diminished capacity.[15]

Effie's Aspect Legacy had granted her a fragment of Life's Domain, which helped her soul give birth to a lesser domain called the Soul Garden, a domain of thriving and prosperity. The fragment of the Divine Domain then fused with her Soul Garden, imbuing it with exuberant, mystical vitality.[15]

When Effie attained Supremacy, her Aspect Abilities grew more potent or evolved, and her lesser domain evolved as well, expanding until it became the size of a continent. Her Domain was located in her Soul Sea, rather than in the Dream Realm or the waking world.[15]

Her Ascended Ability was also greatly enhanced for members of her Domain, becoming far more profound and potent. Those who resided and thrived in her Domain would naturally become its subjects, allowing many more people to abandon the dying Earth. Her Domain could potentially sustain a substantial population, although its exact limit was unclear.[15]

Her natural source element was uncertain because her Aspect Legacy had interfered with the natural progression of her Aspect. They suspected one source element was nurture and prosperity, while the other was warfare, specifically warfare meant to protect what her Domain nurtured. Thus, warriors inspired by her on the battlefield might also become part of her Domain even without making their home in her Soul Garden.[15]

Flaw

Enhances all her physical needs. She can eat enough meat to create a literal pile of gnawed bones.[9]

Aspect Legacy

Reveal

Aspect Legacy: Blessing of War[16]

Effie received her Aspect Legacy, Blessing of War in Fourth Nightmare, after remembering the path of the War God as "the eternal struggle of all living things — the struggle to stay alive, to live. To thrive." As something inside her reached "critical mass" and "completion", it rose and suffused her entire being, overflowing like a wellspring. The Spell then declared that she had received the Aspect Legacy, Blessing of War.[16]

Along with the Aspect Legacy, Effie received a fragment of Life's Domain. Her soul subsequently gave birth to a lesser domain called the Garden of Prosperity, and she became the master of a Soul Garden. This transformation manifested within her Soul Sea: beneath a clear blue sky and the warm radiance of a brilliant sun, a great island rose from the waves, with tall mountains, clear rivers, rich soil, forests, meadows, groves, grasslands, blooming flowers, and trees heavy with ripening fruit. The island possessed exuberant and inexhaustible vitality, which infused Effie's entire being and clashed with the plague consuming her in a vicious war.[16]

The newly unsealed Aspect Legacy also strengthened Effie, although her essence was already almost completely consumed. Despite the strengthening, she would soon lose the ability to use her Aspect once her essence ran out. The transformation was therefore occurring while Effie was still severely wounded and being consumed by the plague.[16]

Domain

Garden of Prosperity

Main article: Garden of Prosperity
Reveal

The Garden of Prosperity is Effie's lesser domain, a physical space residing within her soul. Her Soul Sea had become a miniature mortal realm, which took the form of a radiant island. It was described as a "miniature paradise" that Effie carried within herself.[16][17]

Those who resided and thrived in her Domain would naturally become its subjects.[15]
