The Garden of Prosperity is a lesser domain born from Effie's soul after she received the Aspect Legacy, Blessing of War and a fragment of Life's Domain. It manifested as a Soul Garden in the form of a vast, fertile island filled with mountains, rivers, forests, meadows, flowers, and fruit-bearing trees. The fragment of Life's Domain fused with the land, infusing it with exuberant and inexhaustible vitality that also infused Effie's entire being and clashed with the plague consuming her.[1]

This Domain, Soul Garden, was located in Effie's Soul Sea, rather than in the Dream Realm or the waking world.[2]

Appearance

Within Effie's soul, the Garden of Prosperity manifested as a great island rising from beneath the undulating waves of her Soul Sea. It initially had tall mountains, clear rivers running through its plains and valleys, and rich soil from which green saplings sprouted. The previously barren island was swiftly covered by forests, meadows, groves, and grasslands. Flowers bloomed, while the branches of the trees bent beneath the weight of ripening fruit.[1]

The Garden was a radiant island under an azure sky, where warm winds caressed the leaves of tall trees and clear brooks flowed toward the gentle sea. Its branches were brimming with fruit, its bushes were full of sweet berries, and flowers bloomed across green meadows. The island was entirely safe, with no predators or enemies. Food was delicious and plentiful, while clean water was abundant.[3]

Formation

The Garden of Prosperity was born when something within Effie's soul reached completion after she received the Aspect Legacy, Blessing of War, and a fragment of Life's Domain. It rose and overflowed like a wellspring before its transformation became visible within her Soul Sea, after which the Spell announced that Effie had become the master of a Soul Garden.[1]

It was blooming within Effie's soul as part of her Soul Garden, which existed entirely inside her soul. The Soul Garden was entirely real, unlike the artificial space within her Supreme Memory, the Black Beast Locket.[4]

Soul Garden

The Garden of Prosperity was a physical space residing within Effie's soul, with her Soul Sea becoming a miniature mortal realm. Effie could visit the Soul Garden and enjoy its gifts, as well as admit people inside or summon them back. It was a miniature paradise she carried within herself.[3]

Life Domain

The fragment of Life's Domain inherited by Effie fused into the Garden's land, infusing it with boundless vitality. This vitality sustained the Garden's abundant life, including its forests, meadows, flowers, fruit, berries, and clean water.[3]

Functions

Effie could admit people into the Garden of Prosperity or summon them back. Its fruit and water could also be harvested and carried into the outer world, allowing the warriors defending the Stone Castle to benefit from its resources.[3]

Size and Expansion

The Garden was the size of a large island at the time described. If Effie became Supreme, it would most likely expand to the size of a continent.[3]

Initially, thousands of people could reside within the Garden.[3] In the future, Effie would be able to shelter an entire nation or even carry an entire army within her Soul Garden, while its safety from ordinary Nightmare Creatures made it a secure place for people to reside.[4]

As Supreme

When Effie attained Supremacy, her lesser domain evolved, expanding until it became the size of a continent. The Domain could potentially sustain a substantial population, although its exact limit was unclear.[2]

Trivia

  • In Chapter 3138, in Fourth Nightmare, the people sheltered within the Garden of Prosperity were the remaining population of the destroyed city, except for the warriors defending the Stone Castle from the Steel Horde. Most of the inhabitants were either old or very young. Although they looked gaunt, color was already returning to their faces. The elderly gathered to talk, rest, and prepare simple meals from the gifts of the island, while the children ran around, played, or splashed in the clear brooks.
    • The island possessed a thriving abundance that was described as filled with exuberant and inexhaustible vitality. This vitality infused Effie's entire being and clashed with the plague consuming her in a vicious war.[1]
  • Effie also considered getting animals into her soul in the future, including meat animals and fish, although she was unsure whether there were already fish in the Soul Garden. She had noticed bees and other small creatures and thought she had heard birds, but did not know where they had come from, wondering if they had come as part of Life's Domain or had been born from it.[4]
  • In Chapter 3146, everyone unanimously agreed that Effie should not be allowed to name one of humanity's most vital sanctuaries herself. Otherwise, it might have ended up with names such as "the Big Pantry", "Effie's Huge Soul Food Vault," or "Snack Quadrant". Interestingly, Sunny actually thought "Effie's Huge Soul Food Vault" was a pretty good name, but everyone ignored his opinion.
