Lillian

Lillian is young and attractive, but has distinct, self-inflicted scarring all over her face and body. She explains that she purposely scarred herself so she'd be less attractive to Donald, one of the sadistic co-leaders of her tutorial group. Although the system will heal any scars during a race evolution, Lillian keeps her signature scarred look until C-grade, at which point she decides to allow the scars to heal but begins to wear a white mask covering the upper part of her face^[1]. Jake describes the mask as "cool".

Lillian is a tough, resilient person. She normally maintains a stoic expression, is rarely flustered, and is no nonsense when it comes to business.

While under Abby and Donald's command, Lillian resolved to scar herself to avoid the fate that so many females suffered under the duo. Even after being saved by Jake, Lillian displays neither fear of nor adoration towards him. She is grateful for his help, but is otherwise ambivalent towards him.

Despite her harsh past, Lillian is capable of compassion. When Jake rescues a girl who has been mentally affected by the Minotaur Mindchief, Lillian was the first to step in to take care of her.

Lillian, along with rest of the tutorial survivors, joined the Pre-Haven Valley after Jake killed both Abby and Donald. She is the only female survivor from Abby's group as most of the women were long ago raped and killed by Donald. Two elderly women had survived the tutorial but were killed by space mana explosions during Jake's fight with Abby.

When Jake questions the survivors, it's revealed that Lillian used a knife to cut her hair short and scar her face and body, leaving them unhealed to avoid being raped by Donald.

Not long after integrating in Haven, Lillian alerts Miranda and the residents of Haven to the existence of the fort, an embattled settlement 130 kilometers from the Valley. As they prepare for the expedition to make contact with the Fort, Miranda names Lillian as her Assistant. Throughout the series Lillian often visits the Valley to drop off whatever supplies Jake wants or needs when Miranda was too busy to do it herself. Due to her ability to proactively anticipate his needs, Lillian became one of the few residents Jake personally trusts and talks to.

Later, Lillian is tapped to attend the World Congress with Jake other than Miranda and Neil. She helped by dealing with trade talks, negotiating Spatial Formations with other settlements with Neil, etc.

She continues to progress in her path and has been in a dungeon party with Neil, Phillip, the previous leader of the fort, and two other strong members. In dungeons, she uses ritual magic which allows her to finish off the boss of the dungeon.

Lillian is later selected to be a part of Miranda's team, along with William, Holstred, and the Northpeak Wyvern, for Administrator Candidates testing prior to the Seat of the Exalted Prima Event.^[2]
