Mana is one of the three main energy types (the other two being Stamina and Health) and is known as the energy of the world. It is used mainly in skills that involve magic, but can also be manipulated directly. It can be used in many ways and is influenced by the stats; Intelligence which affects the potency, Wisdom which affects your maximum mana value and Willpower which increases your Mana regen among other things.

There are various types of Mana, And every individual is attuned one or more mana by nature.

Jake Thayne: Pink/purple colored, Jake can change the mana to be in a destructive state, stable state or a mix of both.
Eron: White flame, seems to be related to soul magic as Eron uses it to directly harm Jakes health pool.

Exception

It is not necessary that Mana alone is the path to power, As evidenced by Valdemar and Carmen, one can completely give up mana in exchange for more Stamina and Strength.

Trivia

The Viper gave a hint to Jake that controlling Mana beyond the means of skills are crucial at the beginning.
