The Minotaur Mindchief was an enemy who was slain by Jake Thayne. The mindchief killed himself upon entering Jake's mind and encountering a manifestation of the Bloodline of the Primal Hunter hidden within. He was carrying on him the Pillar of Encumbrance, an item which grows heavier when infused with mana. Jake used the pillar as a melee weapon from late E-grade through mid tier D-grade.
Background
The Minotaur Mindchief was a bull on a meat farm before the integration. After integration, he rapidly reached D-grade and developed mind magic. Having realized that the beasts were significantly more powerful than the human population, he proceeded to take revenge on what human he could find through torture, claiming that he intended to create a new world order with beasts above human kind.
Appearance
The Minotaur Mindchief had the appearance of an anthropomorphic bull. He stood a bit over three meters tall and had curling bronze horns extending from his head. He had simple garb and wielded a staff.[1]

Skills
The minotaur was skilled at mental manipulation and illusions.
- Wayward Journey of Echoing Reminiscence: Allows the minotaur to view the memories of his victim, helping him find a weakness that can be used to break their mind and turn them into a mindless thrall.[2]
Trivia
- While trying to find a memory to exploit, the minotaur notes that the memories of Jake's early years are heavily suppressed. Later years are more vivid, but Jake seemed more muted in those memories, not the "human of action, a wild child with never-ending energy and the disposition of a creature standing at the apex of his species."[2] This change in quality of memory is mostly like the divided of line of before and after Jake unconsciously suppressed his bloodline.
