D-grade is the first major evolutionary step. Evolving from E-grade, representing a substantial increase in power, influence, and connection to the System. Entities who reach D-grade have begun to find their path, often becoming forces capable of shaping their environment, surviving in hostile environments, and interacting meaningfully with powerful factions across the multiverse.
Stages
The D-grade is divided into four distinct sub-stages—early, mid, late, and peak—each spanning a portion of the level range from 100 to 199:
- Early D-grade: Levels 100–130
- Mid D-grade: Levels 130–160
- Late D-grade: Levels 160–190
- Peak D-grade: Levels 190–199

[Evolution (D-grade)] - You have undergone evolution to become a D-grade human. +200 to all stats
OR
Perfect Evolution (D-grade) - You have undergone a perfect evolution to become a D-grade human. +220 to all stats.

Trivia
- Jake and Caleb's parents and Caleb's wife, Maja, are all D-grade with little to no desire to strive for godhood or immortality. That they will eventually meet the end of their natural lifespans is a point of tension introduced early in the series.[2][3]
- Jake defeats the D-grade Forest King during the tutorial. An E-grade defying his fate to beat a D-grade sent ripples through the multiverse.
