Soulbound Weapon

Sunny had to design a soulbound weapon for Nephis. The task involved three parts: forging the sword, soul binding, and choosing enchantments. The first problem was the forging of the sword, which required good materials and powerful soul shards. However, using stronger materials would waste them, as Nephis' soul was bolstered by the radiant lineage of Sun God.^[2]

Sunny believed that the material with the highest affinity to Nephis and her Aspect would be the best choice. He found the mystical ice shards in the Brilliant Emporium, which seemed odd but was necessary for Nephis's sword. He was still considering purity and whether to use the mystical ice or create an alloy on its base.^[2]

The second problem was soul binding, which was vexing as Sunny had learned the weave of the Mantle of the Underworld and could theoretically recreate most of its enchantments, except for the [Prince of the Underworld] enchantment. Recreating either enchantment was a titanic task, and Sunny was considering temporarily manifesting more avatars to keep working on these tasks.^[2]

The third problem was deciding on other enchantments to include and constructing the map of the weave according to the selection. Sunny had a lot to choose from, including the [Unseen] enchantment of the Moonlight Shard, which allowed the ghostly stiletto to appear instantly in his hand, without any delay between the summoning and the manifestation.^[2]

However, Sunny felt that simply recreating past enchantments was not enough for the soulbound sword he would forge for Nephis. He wanted to take a step forward and design unique enchantments, as it would be a watershed moment in his development as a sorcerer and the mold for future Memories Sunny would craft for himself.^[2]

To tailor a perfect weapon for Nephis, Sunny needed to observe her battle art, not the facsimile she had designed to fool the members of the Great Clan Valor.^[2]
