Divine Relics are tools created by a god. Although, relics have some mystical qualities, its powers were not that great. The gods did not need external sources of power, and their tools served specific purposes, which were astonishing and wondrous but not necessarily helpful to humans.[1][1]

Humans perceive Memories as something that grants power, while gods and lesser deities themselves were the power, so any relic they created would have been a mere tool of convenience rather than something meant to empower them.[1]

Relics

  • An imposing spear approximately three meters long. Though it lacked any unnecessary ornamentation, its design was strikingly beautiful—solemn and resplendent. Forged to appear as if made from pure gold, the spear radiated a sense of overwhelming fierceness and immense weight, commanding awe and reverence from anyone who saw it. Its long spearhead was crafted for both piercing and severing, while the flawlessly straight shaft appeared indestructible. Upon its unveiling, the atmosphere changed: the scent of a lightning storm filled the air, and arcs of electricity danced across the grass. The spear felt ancient, immensely powerful, and holy, with the very world seeming to respond to its presence by becoming brighter and more solemn.[2]
The divine relic was a golden spear, a Divine Armament left behind by a slain god, which Sunny recovered from a frozen wasteland. He had seen the spear before in a vision of truth revealed to him during Ariel's Game — it had appeared on a blood-soaked battlefield in a frozen hell, where Weaver had challenged Ariel, who was inhabiting the body of a dying Divine.[3]

Determined to retrieve it, Sunny located the battlefield using his shadow sense and speed, though surviving the place had been an ordeal. The entire area had become far more dangerous over the millennia, filled with an unbearable cold and a pervasive sense of dread. Despite intending to explore, Sunny only barely managed to recover the spear from deep within the ice before fleeing. When he first touched it, the gigantic spear shrank to its current size.[3]

The weapon was around three meters long, made of what seemed to be pure gold, with no unnecessary decoration but an elegant and solemn design. Its long spearhead could pierce and sever, and its indestructible shaft crackled with electric energy. Upon its unveiling, the air smelled of a lightning storm, and the surroundings responded with awe and reverence. It was ancient, holy, and overwhelmingly powerful, so heavy that even Effie struggled to lift it. Despite her strength, she admitted that no Saint was strong enough to wield it in battle.[3]

Trivia

  • There are not many Divine memories around which are created in the image of Divine Relics.[1]
  • Not all divine relics are of divine rank.[1]
  • Sunny noted that if anyone could have stolen a divine relic, Slaying Blade, capable of spilling the golden blood of the gods, it would have been the Nine.[5]
