The Cursed Wanderer abandoned his wraith army to pursue the Flesh of Kanakht, intending to further collect fragments of Kanakht after securing the remains of its Heart contained within Jet. As he rushed toward the Titan, the Wanderer's viridian cutlass began to fail—its ethereal glow dimmed, it ceased to emit its characteristic radiance, and when he hurled it toward the Flesh of Kanakht, a net of thin cracks spread through the blade before it shattered mid-flight, dissolving into ethereal light. This marked the destruction of The Soul of Kanakht. Immediately afterward, the surrounding mist coalesced into Jet, in an empowered wraith form wielding a fearsome scythe. Her presence overwhelmed the Wanderer as she delivered a decisive blow, the scythe passing through him from shoulder to hip. Following a brief stillness, a gust of dreadful wind dispersed his form like mist, resulting in the Cursed Wanderer's destruction in the very heart of the Eternal City, slain by Jet.^[3]
