Yggdrasil · The Primal Hunter · Wiki

Yggdrasil is a Primordial and the leader of the Pantheon of Life. Yggdrasil is a massive tree that gained sapience in the 1st era and never stopped growing.

Beginning with the planet on which she was born, Yggdrasil has extended her massive roots through space taking roots on planet after planet, creating a massive network, until she finally rooted on a great planet. After rooting on the great planet, Yggdrasil ascended to godhood. The planets she subsumed were not destroyed in the process but rather got boosted with life. Currently, she is 1/100th of the Great Planet she's rooted on and she has small galaxies in her crown.

Yggdrasil does not have a separate divine realm but rather is a living divine realm similar to The Starseizing Titan. Due to being a tree and largely immobile, Nature's Attendant represents her and is considered almost an equal partner is running the Pantheon of Life.

Pre-Plot

Yggdrasil is one of the 8 Primordials who went to stop Vilas who was rampaging after losing his family during the 7th era.

Tutorial

Yggdrasil was one of the gods that invited Jacob to their realm when he became an Augur of Hope. A Golden Leaf of Yggdrasil was used by Eversmile to perform a true resurrection of William Hanson.

Nevermore

During the C-grade portion of Nevermore descend of Jake and his team, Nature's Attendant is the representative for her self during the Nevermore dungeon meetup of Primordials.

Post-Nevermore

She examined Dina and Artemis changes due to interaction with Jake and allowed Artemis to go ahead in pursuing Jake.

Abilities

Yggdrasil's most famous ability is True Resurrection. Normally, fully resurrecting a True Soul is impossible. However, it can be done with a Golden Leaf of Yggdrasil if it is applied not long after they are slain. However, the item can only be obtained by gods and comes at great cost.^[1] The most notable use in story is the resurrection of William Hanson by Eversmile using a Golden Leaf. Even the Primordial noted that he'd spent substantial resources to ensure the resurrection.

Yggdrasil also passively heals anyone who enters her area of influence.^[1]

Trivia

Jake describes Yggdrasil as looking like an ash tree from Earth.^[2] He also believes that Yggdrasil is proof of multiversal records bleeding through to unintegrated worlds because Yggdrasil looks exactly like the World Tree described in Earth legends.
