Hawkie

An ordinary and small brown Hawk, small in relative to the abrnormal size of monsters with the new system but otherwise same as ordinary hawk from Pre-System Earth.

Jake first encountered Hawkie outside the Pre-Haven Pylon of Civilization. At the time, Jake was attempting to use his newly acquired skill, Wings of the Malefic Viper. Hawkie, frustrated by his clumsy attempts at flight, decided to teach him how to properly fly.

Later, Hawkie guided Jake to the skies high above Haven, an area filled with flocks of birds moving like schools of fish and Cloud Islands spawning elementals—a stratosphere that functioned as its own world. The two began using this realm as their hunting grounds.

During this period, Hawkie frequently left Jake behind and forbade him from following. It was eventually revealed that these absences were spent collecting D-grade monster cores to strengthen its unborn child, which was still in its egg. Hawkie later brought Jake to its nest, where he met Mystie and learned of their need for the cores. Jake provided one and, using his cauldron, infused it with his own blood, transforming it into a Malefic Beastorb.

Together, they performed the ritual to inject the infused cores into the egg. Afterward, Hawkie and Mystie relocated their nest to Jake’s wooden house near the Pylon, where the egg hatched and Sylphie was born.

Minor Event: During one of their family training sessions, Sylphie ran into a local alpha. Jake had to step in to save them.
