Elementals are beings of mana, which is their only resource. This allows their bodies to become living weapons. Elementals are one of the few types of creatures that can grow incredibly powerful without gaining sapience or sentience[1]. This trait, however, does make their ability to evolve become almost non-existent.
Elementals are by far the most numerous archetype of creature in the multiverse. [1] Even if all the elementals on a planet are killed, new ones would simply appeared, birthed from the mana in the environment. Elementals of nearly all affinities exist as long as areas with sufficient concentration of the mana exist.
Notable Exceptions
Sylphs
Sylphs are powerful wind elementals of at least A-grade, ranging up to S-grade. The sylphs living in the Pantheon of Life are old and have a high degree of intelligence despite being elementals. Sylphs tend to be gentle and are known be protectors of the territories they inhabit.[2] Sylphie spends a great deal of time with the Pantheon commune of wind sylphs. They are ruled by an elemental god and they have a great deal of admiration for Sylphie as she has been marked as "loved by the wind." Many sylphs worship Stormild.
