Seekers were a group in the Great River who were always trying to reach the Estuary.[1]

The Seekers of Truth, who entered the Tomb of Ariel alongside the sybils or even earlier, were not seeking salvation from the doom war but instead braved the Nightmare Desert and found their way into the tomb built by the Demon of Dread due to their thirst for knowledge.[2]

Finding the Estuary

The entrance to the Estuary is stationary, but space in the Source is unreliable. It was no wonder the Seekers of Truth failed to discover the Estuary before Aletheia of the Nine, who had constructed her island in the image of the Great River. Sunny suspects that Aletheia's actions, constructing her island in the image of the Great River and creating her own time loop, were to learn how to navigate the Source which was not by accident.[3]

Trivia

  • They are all kinds of humans and creatures who came seeking the truth which said to be hidden at the Estuary.[4]
  • "that which was defiled" was one of the Seekers and the first person who learned the hideous truth that the Demon of Dread had hidden in the Estuary.[1]
