Quiet Dancer

It is graceful and slender rapier,^[3] floating, seemingly sentient^[1][4] that looks connected to Cassie by an invisible string. According to Cassie, the rapier is shy around strangers.^[1] But on the marble arch, this unfriendly echo managed to remain between Cassie and any men who tried to approach her.^[5] It also often behaved like a prudish and cantankerous young woman.^[6]

It was Cassie's partner^[1] and her signature weapon enough for her friends to recognize inside a Nightmare.^[7]

When Cassie holds its hilt, their bond intensifies, allowing her to vaguely sense what the flying rapier perceives. Although Quiet Dancer lacks typical human senses like sight or hearing, it can sense shapes and motion, which helps her navigate her surroundings despite being blind. This connection allows her to discern shapes and movement through the rapier's unique perception, helping her in combat and navigation.^[2]

• In Chapter 327, Quiet Dancer saved Kai during the Siege of the Crimson Spire.
• An Ascended charm that provided a powerful augmentation to a single Echo, which Cassie used on Quiet Dancer. With its help, the Quiet Dancer could carry her weight for a short distance. The only drawback of the charm was she couldn't use it often or for too long as it ate through her soul essence rapidly.^[8]
• In Chapter 1763, it was mentioned that Cassie had earned this Echo in their expedition to acquire Moonlight Shard near the statue of the Slayer.
• Quiet Dancer was destroyed when Asterion caught it mid-flight with his bare hand, and the overwhelming power of his grip caused the blade to shatter instantly into fragments and sparks.^[9]
• In Chapter 2985, Cassie summoned the Quiet Dancer into reality with the power of her Aspect after attaining her Supreme Ability.
