Alchemy is a field of crafting that centers on the interactions of various ingredients with each other, mana, and other, more mundane substances. Alchemists use this knowledge and their skills in order to create potions, poisons, pills and other concoctions. It also includes the study of runes for making rituals and formations, and the study of transmutation.

Order of the Malefic Viper
The Malefic Viper is widely considered to be the greatest alchemist in the multiverse in regards to poisons and certain branches of transmutation.[1] His faction, the Order of the Malefic Viper, is built around the profession of alchemy. The Order even maintains a school, the Academy of the Order of the Malefic Viper, which accepts students from any faction not actively warring with the Order. The Academy is highly respected and grants the Order a great deal of prestige.

Valhal
Valhal has its fair share of alchemists. However, lacking Palate of the Malefic Viper or poison resistance, they don't focus on poisons, transmutations, acids, or formations. They instead focus on more classical alchemistry: potions, flasks, and elixirs.[1] These tools help fighters increase stamina or give power boosts. Elixirs help grant additional stat points. Flasks grant temporary buffs. Potions can restore multiple resources at once.
