Mirror Beast

According to the inhabitants of the Sanctuary, this creature was twisted and deadly and was capable of messing with a person's sight. It didn't seem to be a Tyrant, at least.^[4]

In reality, this creature was able to turn into a copy of any enemy while remaining as powerful as a Fallen Devil. It mirrored everything about its enemy, their appearance, weapons, battle technique, powers, memories, and even attributes.^[5][6]

Beastie was Ascended Reflection that Mordret created when he was just a lonely kid, and they were together for a long time before they weren't anymore.^[7]

When the creature died, it left behind a mirror shard that refused to reflect anything except for an impenetrable veil of darkness. There was also an inscription on its reverse: "Beastie".^[2]

• Cruel Sight was the memory awarded to Sunny by the Spell when he killed the Mirror Beast.^[1] When Mordret went to soul battle inside Sunny's soul sea, he was able to get the reflection of Cruel Sight and hinted that it was his weapon before.^[8]
