The Seeker is a god who has an insatiable drive to collect valuables.[1] He is always at the forefront of any exploratory team and was a master at breaking into anywhere and everywhere. Be it knowledge, weapons, natural treasures. Even entire worlds and people weren’t beyond the scope of his greed. And the more challenging the acquisition, the better.

Level-wise, he is on par with Umbra, the Autarch of the Altmar Empire, Gwyndyr, the Eternal Servant, and other gods that were not Primordials but still at the pinnacle.[1]

Personality

The Seeker is always seeking something. To him, nothing is unreachable. It's just a puzzle that needs to be solved. However, his path is not combat-focused. The Malefic Viper describes the Seeker as a weakling.[1]

The Seeker is a thief, a safecracker, an explorer, a scholar, a hoarder, an adventurer-for-hire, a cartographer, and many other things, but he is not a fighter. In fact, he actively avoids physical confrontation. When facing far weaker individuals that he should easily be capable of killing, he will still choose to flee. In his view, fighting is a waste of time and effort, and his energy is better spent doing something more productive.

He is a mostly solitary god, constantly traveling and exploring hidden realms. He possesses some of the best stealth skills in the multiverse. If he so desired, he would be an absolute pain to find, if it was even possible.

Appearance

He was a relatively scrawny-looking elf of some kind. He wears a long, dirty coat with baggy pants held up by a utility belt filled with different odd-looking tools. His hair was long, nearly reaching his shoulders. His eyes are particularly noticeable. On the left side, he had a normal eye, while on the right, he had one that looked to be made of stone, easily recognizable as an artifact of incredible power.

Jake personally thought the god didn’t look very impressive, but more like some guy who had just stumbled out of some jungle adventure movie.[2]

Trivia

  • The Seeker was one of the Gods that invited Jacob to their realm when he became an Augur of Hope.
  • He was the creator of Jake’s beloved Puzzle Box (Gifted by the Golden Road Emporium). The boxes are one of his hobbies, as he loves sharing the experience of spending a long time trying to break into something and the satisfaction of succeeding.
  • The Seeker considers Minaga a good friend and treats each clone as a unique individual, even introducing himself to any clone he hasn't met and asks about the status of other clones he has met.[3]
  • The Seeker is one of the very few gods who travels the multiverse in his true body. He does so because he has the utmost confidence in his ability to escape. As such, he doesn't need to fear the actions or reprisals of any of the other gods.[3]
  • Agreed to pay a future favor to The King, should he reach godhood, in exchange for being allowed to keep the King's left arm to study. As the limb would regenerate, the King agreed. [4]
