Noboru Clan

The Noburu Clan is an Earth faction lead by The Sword Saint. Prior to system integration, the Noboru clan was a prominent family with a very successful business.

Post-integration, the Clan becomes notable for having a significant number of vampires amongst its membership, as well as some alchemists trained at the Academy of the Order Of the Malefic Viper. This inclusion of vampires and Order-trained alchemists gradually erodes the Noboru clan's status as a largely independent Earth faction. This is the consternation of the clan's patriarch, Noboru Miyamoto, who would prefer to preserve the clan's status as neutral and independent. However, the large majority of the multiverse is extremely hostile towards vampires. While few would blatantly violate the Order of the Malefic Viper's blanket protection of vampires, that protection does not extend to vampires who refuse to acknowledge a connection to the Order. This creates an ongoing conundrum in which the Noboru clan does not want to lose their identity by being subsumed by the Order, but can't openly reject the notion of being a subordinate faction of the Order. ^[1]

Despite his misgivings towards being associated with an existing faction, Miyamoto acts in the best interest of his clans. Given the number who have embraced vampirism, Miyamoto goes to meet with the Nalkar Clan to request mentors for his clan members.^[2] When the 93rd Universe opens low level C-grades, the vampires come as requested and stay with the clan to help the newly evolved vampires better understnad their Path.^[3]
