Grand Simivita is a semi-invasive species of ape-like monsters Jake encounters in the Hunting Grounds of the Pantheon of Life. The Simivita are relatively common in the multiverse.
The Simivita tribe is one of the most powerful social beast tribes on the planet hosting the Hunting Ground.[1] They are a race that has the potential to evolve into an enlightened race but they are currently classified as monsters. Their Path revolves around killing, absorbing energy in the environment, and consuming things.[1] The Simivita will attempt to avenge their dead, but unlike the Rainbowfeather Songbirds, they will retreat if they find themselves in at a disadvantage.
The Simivita aren't particularly religious, although some hold Blessings. However, they are known to be particularly superstitious. One of their suspicions is that they can sire more powerful offspring by consuming the young of other powerful beasts.[1]
Jake first encountered the Grand Simivita when they were attempting to ambush Keerla and Solana who were protecting the cave of a fortuna ferret and her five kits. Heavily outnumbered, the two signaled an SOS for assistance.[2] After defeating the Chieftain, Jake decides to get rid of all the most powerful Simivita on the island (late to Peak C-grade).
Appearance
The Grand Simivita are ape-like creatures that wield weapons. They have green fur that allows them to blend into their jungle environment.
The Chieftain was capable of speech, carried a sword (rare), and wore a necklace made of the skulls (epic) of the humans, elves, dwarves, and other enlightened races that it had killed.[2]
The Warlord looked similar to the Chieftain but was slightly larger, standing at around three and a half meters tall with a slightly arched back. He had greenish fur with tattoo-like symbols that enabled his spirit magic. He wore no armor but carried a large twin-edged asked made entirely of wood.[3]

Chieftain
The Grand Simivita Chieftain was a Peak C-grade at level 349. The Chieftain used a spectral shield that gave a greenish hue. He specialized in melee combat and was very skilled with a sword. He had a boosting skill and had the power of Spiritcalling. Spiritcallers have the ability to temporarily have spirit energy inhabit them, empowering them significantly and allowing them to tap into Records for specific skills:[4]
- Spirits of Old, Protect Me: Granted a full suit of transparent armor. The armor can project dozens of hands that grip and restrain the target if they get too close
- Spirits of Old, Strengthen Mine Arms: Strengthened the Chieftain's sword and gave it a ghostly glow
- Spirits of Old, Guide Me: Granted increased power, strengthening the Chieftain's aura and giving his eyes a ghostly glow
- Now Fall Before the Might of the Ancestors: Cast a powerful beam of condensed light from the Chieftain's sword towards the target
Warlord
The Grand Simivita Warlord was the B-grade leader of the Simivita in the Pantheon Hunting Grounds. He was a heavy warrior, extremely strong with high toughness and decent vitality.[5] Much like the Chieftain, the Warlord used spirit magic. He also had the ability to summon ghostly fighters that the aura of a B-grade but a power level closer to Peak C-grade:[3]
- Simivita Ancestral Spearmaster
- Simivita Ancestral Swordmaster
- Simivita Ancestral Hammermaster
- Simivita Ancestral Axemaster
In Jake's opinion, the Warlord was actually harmed by the fact that he was one of the few B-grades in the Hunting Ground. The B-grades very rarely fought each other, considering it not worth the risk. Instead, they were only strong enough to face Peak C-grades, usually with a single devastating blow. This approach made them weak for their actual grade and they struggled against anything that could challenge them at their own power level.[5]
