Jake Thayne encountered her during the Treasure Hunt and she quickly became an important ally to him, joining his community in Haven. Renowned for her exceptional agility and dual-wielding combat style, Felicia has solidified herself as a reliable member of Haven's elite fighters.

Appearance

Felicia is a lithe and agile woman characterized by her lean, athletic build, optimized for speed and stealth. She has dark copper-brown hair typically worn in a loose braid. She wears practical, lightweight leather armor designed for maximum flexibility and mobility, suitable for her rogue combat style.

Personality

Felicia is calm, reserved, and pragmatic. She generally remains composed and level-headed, contrasting sharply with her partner Roman's boisterous and enthusiastic personality. Known for her dry wit, Felicia is quick to offer grounded, sarcastic remarks during tense or absurd moments. Despite her reserved demeanor, she enjoys subtle competition and camaraderie, demonstrating loyalty and reliability in crucial moments.

Story Summary

Treasure Hunt (Chapters 283-348)

Vault of the Rubik’s Cube (Treasure Hunt): Felicia’s first major appearance is in the Treasure Hunt arc, where Jake stumbles upon a group of D-grades (including Felicia and Roman) attempting to open a mysterious cube-shaped Vault. When Jake arrived, Felicia was in the thick of battle: she fought off several vampires that were guarding the vault. The narrative highlights her skill as “the rogue with the two swords” who was adeptly cutting [two vampires] up while expertly dodging their attacks. After Jake helped defeat the monsters, Felicia cooperated in solving the Rubik’s Cube puzzle – a giant 15x15 magic cube. Unlike some others who wanted to brute-force it, Felicia showed patience and realism (dryly remarking that random guessing would “waste the rest of the Treasure Hunt”). Working together with Jake, Roman, and a Court of Shadows assassin, Felicia helped complete the puzzle Vault. When the vault treasure appeared, an ambush was sprung by rival independents (and the accompanying earth mage betrayed the group) In the ensuing fight, Felicia sided firmly with Jake and Roman. They huddled around Jake as over a hundred hostile D-grades attacked. Felicia held her own in the battle that followed (though Jake did the lion’s share of the fighting, she and Roman contributed with their skills). Thanks to Jake’s power, they survived the ambush. This whole sequence cemented Felicia as an ally – she neither fled nor turned on Jake, instead fighting at his side against overwhelming odds. By the end of the Treasure Hunt, Felicia had earned a share of the vault loot and the trust of Jake’s faction. Notably, she obtained the spatial storage cube here, and this event led directly to her joining Haven.

Integration into Haven

Aftermath and Joining Haven: Following the Treasure Hunt, Felicia and Roman stuck together. In a brief parting scene, they formally exchanged names with Jake (up until then they’d fought together anonymously). “Felicia,” the rogue woman introduced herself. She asked if she could come to Haven, indicating her decision to affiliate with Jake’s city. Jake agreed, and they went their separate ways with plans to reunite. This marks a turning point for Felicia: from a lone wanderer she transitions to becoming part of a larger community.

Grand Auction

The Grand Auction (Volume 6): Felicia makes a memorable appearance during the global Auction event. Jake, having earned a private auction booth, invited Felicia and Roman to join him as honored guests. In this scene we see her in a more social setting. When they arrive, Roman greets Jake boisterously, while Felicia offers a subtle greeting and a slight smile. She stands out as “the dual-wielding rogue from the Rubik’s Cube Vault” now rubbing shoulders with Haven’s elite. During the Auction, Felicia mostly observes quietly, but has a few shining moments of personality. One such moment is when Sultan (Haven’s merchant) and Jake make a bet on an item’s final price – Felicia unexpectedly joins the wager and one-ups them. As bids rose, “Felicia suddenly spoke up” with her own guess, winning the bet and prompting Sultan’s annoyed groan. She collects the winnings with a rare smirk while Roman jokingly protests about “shared finances”. This light-hearted episode shows Felicia relaxed among friends. The Auction also demonstrates how far she’s come: Felicia, once scrambling in a deadly tutorial, is now confident enough to participate in high-stakes bidding wars and mingle with figures like the Monarch (though she wisely keeps a low profile around truly dangerous powers). The event ends with Jake spending time with many allies; Felicia is seen chatting with other Haven members, indicating her growing social ties. The Auction doesn’t involve combat for Felicia, but it solidifies her status as part of Jake’s circle and gives a glimpse of her everyday demeanor among allies.

119 Chapter 313: Treasure Hunt: Rubik's Cube

Combat Style and Abilities

Felicia excels as a dual-wield rogue specializing in speed, stealth, and precision strikes. She typically wields twin blades with expert finesse, employing hit-and-run tactics, ambushes, and backstabs to quickly dispatch enemies. Her agility and evasive maneuvers make her difficult to target, complementing her rapid offensive capabilities.

Equipment

Twin Blades – Her primary weapons, optimized for close-quarters combat. Legendary Spatial Storage Cube – Acquired during the Treasure Hunt, used to store and quickly access her weapons and loot. Leather Armor – Designed to enhance mobility and stealth.

Relationships

Roman

Roman is Felicia’s closest companion. They met during the Treasure Hunt and formed a partnership that quickly became very close. Roman fondly says that after surviving the Rubik’s Cube Vault together, the two have been “thick as thieves ever since." Their relationship carries romantic undertones – Roman refers to her endearingly (calling her “my gal Felicia”), and they often operate as a pair. Felicia seems to reciprocate his affection, albeit in her reserved way (tolerating his flirtatious antics with an eye-roll or gentle shove rather than overt gush). By all accounts, Felicia and Roman are a duo, traveling and fighting together through the series. Their chemistry provides a bit of humor, with Felicia keeping Roman in check, but also genuine trust. Jake even teases Roman, surprised he found someone who puts up with him, which implies the others recognize them as a couple. In later volumes, they are effectively inseparable partners.

Miranda Wells, Jake Thayne, and Haven Allies

Beyond Roman, Felicia becomes affiliated with Haven, the city-state that Jake and his allies establish. After the Treasure Hunt, Felicia expressed interest in joining Haven’s community. She asked Jake if she could come by Haven, to which Jake readily agreed. Haven’s leader Miranda Wells also personally invited Felicia and Roman, saying they’d be welcome additions. Felicia indeed relocates to Haven after the Hunt, integrating into Jake’s faction. In Haven, she gains new comrades: she works with figures like Miranda (city leader), Sultan (merchant and curse mage), and others. Notably, Felicia participates in a dungeon expedition alongside Miranda, Sultan, Roman, and Lillian (Miranda’s assistant), indicating a high level of trust and camaraderie with Haven’s core team. During this dungeon dive, Felicia fights seamlessly beside these allies, watching Miranda’s back and coordinating attacks with Roman and Sultan. This shows she has built strong working relationships with Haven’s members. Felicia also gets along with Jake’s broader circle. At the Grand Auction, she socializes with members of Neil’s party (Eleanor, Christen, Levi), suggesting she’s friendly when approached, even if not extremely outgoing. Jake himself views her positively; he respects her skills and treats her as an ally. Though Felicia is never shown interacting one-on-one with Jake at length, she clearly earned his trust during the Treasure Hunt. By inviting her into a private Auction booth and later into Haven, Jake acknowledged her as part of his extended team. In summary, Felicia’s affiliations shift from being an independent adventurer to a valued member of Haven’s community. Her closest bond is with Roman, but she becomes a respected ally to Jake’s group and finds a new “home” among Haven’s D-grade elites.

Status

Currently alive and residing in Haven, Felicia continues to serve as a valuable member of the community, actively participating in its defense and exploration.
