House Aope

House Aope "began its existence during the Witch Wars, when one of the major witch clans agreed to defect to the Ikosians' side if they were given the status of a formal House in return. The Ikosians, ever pragmatic, agreed." The Aope "rose through the ranks of the Ikosian political system, leaving a trail of broken rivals in their wake, until they eventually stood on top as one of the more prestigious Noble Houses in all Altazia."^[1]

Has an unfavorable reputation due to their roots as witches and rumors claiming they practice mind magic, demon summoning, and necromancy.^[1] Tinami is learning mind magic^[2] and knows the invisibility spell which she is not legally allowed to know yet.^[3]

Cyoria is their power base. According to Spear of Resolve who read Tinami's mind, House Aope is not connected to the invasion of Cyoria.^[3]

Spear of Resolve sought their assistance in repelling Invasion of Cyoria in one restart^[3] and outside the time loop (via Zorian)^[4]. Outside the loop, Spear of Resolve also asked them for help in securing legal recognition of their web by Cyorian authorities, with Zorian acting as an unofficial aranean ambassador^[5].
