They were humanoid creatures with powerful black tentacles instead of a pair of legs and fearsome appearances. They had higher-quality weapons and durable armor made from shell and bone. They are sentient abominations and appeared intelligent enough to fight as a single force.[2]

[Great Monster].
The butterfly's wings and back were black, had white bone colored body and underbelly. It had six long fragile legs that ended in shape points and two enormous faceted eyes like orbs of pure darkness. Between the eyes was a long, oily-black beak, which bent into a spiral like an elephant's trunk. Two antennas rose from its head. The butterfly was at least a hundred meters in size. It was both beautiful and deeply frightening.[3]

A complex pattern on the butterfly's wing was a strange image that should never be looked upon.[4]

-

The towering body of the Corrupted Tyrant was gaunt and appalling, covered in a rotten crimson dress, with moist skin like tar, pitch-black and glossy, tentacled limbs, and a terrifying head split apart by a wide maw.[6]

A massive shape with giant tentacles, Enormous, ancient, and harrowing. The drowned outcasts appeared to have herded this enormous monstrosity, using it to attack larger prey.[9]

- 1412 [Great Beast].
A massive Nightmare Creature, resembling a black leopard carcass, had a long, segmented tail that ended in a revolting circular maw that brimmed with needle-like teeth. Each of its yellow canines were as long as a great sword and covered in dried blood. The creature's bones protruded from its rotting flesh.[13]

- 1419 Legion of black millipedes
- 1419
