Luna

The Nightmare Spell had first appeared in the Lunar Colonies before spreading to Earth, suggesting that something had been unearthed there. The moon had become the nest of an Unholy Nightmare Creature, making high-altitude flight and lunar observation dangerous. This discovery led to the decline of aviation and reinforced the fear surrounding the moon.^[1]

It was theorized that a powerful Nightmare Gate existed on the moon, possibly the First Gate. Due to the dangers of observing the moon, no Obel Scale could be built to study it. Experts believed this gate was a Category Six Gate, connected to the Seed of the Sixth Nightmare—the final Nightmare that, when conquered, could elevate someone to true godhood. Another theory suggested that this gate led to the very Seed of the Nightmare Spell, marking the source of its invasion into reality.^[1]

• The Dreamspawn became fixated on Earth's moon, Luna, due to a mystery hidden on its surface.^[1] It is known that he was cut off and locked away on the moon.^[3][4]
• The first registered or documented case of Nightmare Spell infection occurred in one of the moon settlements.^[2]
