Huntsman

The Chalice Knight resembled a human wearing tattered armor that turned green from rust. He stood at 2.5 meters tall and seemed taller due to deer antlers attached to his helmet. The helmet resembled the snout of a snarling beast's snout, with darkness nestling in its visor. The armor was covered in moss and a ragged cloak too weathered to retain color. The Knight held a large, heavy battleaxe enough to split humans in two.^[5]

The Huntsman was a stealthy predator that ruled the forest, attacking unseen from mist and darkness, and displaying mutilated corpses on ancient tree branches for everyone to see, demonstrating his mastery of intimidation and mental pressure.^[6]

Chalice Knights were towering, armored warriors with a secret. The Huntsman's bestial helmet hinted at their true nature. They were shapeshifters, with a rabid beast living within them and that beast would emerge when they face powerful enemies or in danger.^[4]

Song Seishan destroyed the Fallen Titan obliterating most of its minions. After the battle, the town hall issued missions to hunt down the remnant abominations. Rain was not strong enough to challenge them, but many Awakened cohorts were. All but one Chalice Knight managed to decimate several cohorts that ventured into the forest to kill him. The Awakened warriors were forced to retreat, and the Chalice Knight earned the foreboding nickname, the Huntsman.^[1]

Sunny chose a demon known as the Huntsman for Rain to kill and awaken to form her soul core because there's a lot of information to know about the Chalice Knights, mid-rank minions of a Fallen Titan. The Titan's territory was located between Ravenheart and one of the larger cities of Song Domain, preventing road construction.^[1]

For Rain's hunt, Sunny gave her a tachi made of shadows as her weapon.^[1]

• The Awakened Demon dwelled far away from Ravenheart, there was no ash or snow around, but the ground is covered in frost.^[2]
• The Chalice Knights, who drank the Jade Queen's nectar, were consumed of only bestial needs.^[7]
