Unlike its C- and D-grade counterparts, B-grade Nevermore is not designed for the newly evolved. Rather than being a competition with challenge dungeons, themed floors, and quests, B-grade Nevermore is solely a place to gain levels. To this extent, the floors are far more expansive, easily able to rival entire galaxies, often in the form of massive, expansive continents suspended in space. These floors are chocked with content including hidden bosses, unending waves of enemies, faction battles, and more. Jake contrasted C-grade and B-grade to "a story-driven game with some open-world elements [versus] a sandbox open-world game where one could just do whatever without any clear direction."[1]
Objectives
The only objective of the B-grade floors is to find the entrance to the next floor. The challenge is being able to pass through the door when it is reached. To pass through, one must meet a certain criteria such as killing specific things, gathering items, or whatever objective the Wyrmgod set. This can be bypassed by having already reached a certain level. If the participant has already reached the minimum threshold level to enter the next floor, all they have to do to advance is slay the boss guarding the door to the next floor.
Time Dilation
Similar to in C-grade, the time dilation intensifies the further one progresses. As such, most prefer to enter B-grade Nevermore towards the middle or latter part of the grade, roughly around level 425, which would allow the participants to enter all floors provided they can beat the floor boss. Going to Nevermore any earlier in the grade decreases the time dilation efficacy, with the difficulty of the boss slowing participants significantly, making progression no more efficient than leveling anywhere else, and wasting the limited allotted time for the grade.
The time limit for being in Nevermore at B-grade has not yet been specified.
