Madeline

Red haired woman.

Madeline attended the same university as Jake and was pursuing an art degree.^[1] She and Jake dated for two years. During that time, Madeline started a secret relationship with Andrew, Jake's close friend.

Jake found the two together on many occasions but shrugged it off as a mere coincidence. However, things came to a head when Jake returned early from a holiday visit to his family. He returned to spend time with Madeline and Andrew, only to find the pair together in bed. Devastated, Jake left the apartment and returned to his family home, ignoring all attempts at contact from Madeline and Andrew. Jake's father hired movers to move his things to different apartment. After realizing that everyone in their friend group had been aware of the affair but no one had told him, Jake completely cut himself off from his former friends and focused solely on his studies.

Jake never contacted Madeline again and does not know her current status post-integration.
