Behemoths are Beast type Monsters with a natural grade of B-grade.[1] They are considered an elite race, alongside the likes of True Dragons. While True Dragons are regarded as the foremost race of monster spellcasters in the multiverse, Behemoths are often seen as the pinnacle of monsters focused on sheer physical prowess.

This does not mean they are incapable of using magic, as they sometimes utilize earth magic however, such abilities are not their primary focus.[2] A Behemoth's power is generally tied to its size. As they level up, they grow larger and larger. In S-grade, it's not uncommon to see Behemoths dwarfing planets.[3]Behemoths use their Polymorph skill to manipulate their size, increasing or decreasing as needed while maintaining their resources and power.

Evolutionary Path

Behemoths are rare. Unlike True Dragons and Phoenixes who have relatively straightforward evolutionary paths, no one really knows exactly what the requirements are to evolve into a behemoth. As best as anyone can tell, it seems that the individual has to be a mammal-like monster focused on physical might. This descriptor fits many beasts, but almost none would ever evolve into a behemoth.[2]

Nearly all Behemoths come from natural births. However, it requires both partners to be a behemoth. If they mate with any other race, it results in a beastkin if the partner is enlightened or a variant beast if the partner is a monster. [2]
