Cirin

Cirin is a town in Eldemar where Kazinski family home is. Zorian Kazinski (the protagonist) and most of his family: Father, Mother, Fortov and Kirielle begin each restart there.

Cirin is described as "a glorified village in the middle of nowhere" by Zorian.^[1] When Zorian is forced to stay there one restart, he found even the summer festival to be "the same as it was every year: incredibly dull".^[2]

One of Zorian's neighbors, an old lady who lost her husband and both sons to the Weeping, blamed the Kazinski family for their deaths, claiming the Kazinskis cursed them.^[3]
