Chassanah

Chassanah is a minor character in Mother of Learning, described as a "weathered old man". He is the "main ward expert" ("Both in making and breaking them") of Daimen Kazinski's tracking team. He warned Zorian that the area is dangerous and gave Zorian a lecture after a fisher vine nearly dragged Zorian off. Later that day, Zorian had to send a golem to rescue Chassanah from a chameleon drake.^[1] Still later same day, Chassanah participated in the battle against a divinely enhanced hydra, and after that, sided with Zorian when unhappy team members started insulting him.^[2]
