Foundation

The War Empire was built by the Dragon, the God Emperor, and his descendants after the destruction of Azarax’s empire. Azarax had been conquering the mortal realms with his great conquering horde and was well on the way to subjugating them all until his army besieged a small city protected by a War Maiden, an ancient warrior priestess who had once served an avatar of War God. Although that avatar was long gone, the covenant between War God and the War Maidens still remained. The War Maiden and the city she was hired to protect became the ruin of Azarax’s great army, his empire, and himself. By the time Azarax finally managed to kill her, everything around him was already in ruins. The War Maiden was cast to Hell for breaking the divine covenant, while the Dragon built his empire on the ruins of what she had destroyed. The Dragon became the God Emperor of the War Empire, where he and his descendants dwelled in the Great Temple.[1]

End

The Empire’s fate was sealed when Eurys killed the avatar of War God. As a result, when the Doom War started, an avatar of War God was nowhere to be seen.[2]
