Slaughterhouse

Ground Floor is a usual dance club. Beneath it is a VIP area with an underground arena. There is nothing illegal going on but the things happening are in poor taste. They usually send Echoes that are dormant beasts to fight against mundane fighters. The fighters are paid generously and the club profits from the rich who enjoy watching these kinds of fights enough to recoup losses if one of the Echoes is accidentally destroyed.^[1]

The arena was large and looked more like a luxurious theater than a fighting pit. It resembled a stage that was surrounded by a protective barrier fashioned out of transparent alloy. Rows of seats were furnished with red velvet, and there were private boxes for the most affluent of the visitors. The whole space was sparsely illuminated, with deep shadows nesting between the areas of light.^[2]
